+1 for these intakes. I had them on my car, fit was good, induction sound was good and somehow they gave the exhaust a growl. Loved em.

the check engine light wont light up wit these intake right?

jrb55gh 01-11-2015 05:37 PM

I ran them several weeks and there was never a check engine light. The ecu trims adjusted after a few miles and car felt a bit more responsive than with the stock intakes. They are louder than the stock intakes.

Never had the light come on and I've put 50k+ on mine.

This looks nicer than my K&N typhoons!

The R2C's seal out hot engine bay air better than other short ram intakes. It is more like a cold air intake in that way.

Good price

I've got 40K miles on mine with no lights ever. R2C also makes the best filters available. GLWS :tiphat:

How many miles on these?

GalletGun 01-13-2015 09:58 AM

Amazing intakes. I have had these on my Z for over a year now. No lights, no problems, and perfect fitment. Sounds great too. Nice growl.

I bought the R2C's in December. They have about 500 miles on them. I am a bit older than many of you here and prefer the quietness of the stock intake after comparing the two. However, the R2C seems to rip through the gears quicker than the stock intakes.

If the 55 in your signature is any indication of year born, I am right there with you. Just turned the big 60 9 days ago.

I still like it loud...
