Is the bose head unit a direct swap with a non bose head unit frame?

SuperDave 12-28-2014 10:05 PM

Frame? Yes, wiring is different though I think.

Sorry, I just edited my post, yes that's fine, however it's untested (I don't have an iphone). Do you still want it?

Bump for excellent seller. Got good deals even though he is a Jew

Do those speaker adaptors fit right into the stock 6x9 holes? They look kinda weird lol.
You selling the stock bose amp? Need one to harvest parts from.

The stock BOSE amp is still in my car, but I could be convinced to pull it and sell the headunit, amp, and speakers as a package deal.

The adapters are the Alpine ones. I believe 3 screw holes reach to the 6x9 plate and a 6.5" speaker bolts to it. I'm not sure exactly, I already had my own in there from my previous install.

How is the bose speakers compared to oem base speakers? If I were to get the bose speakers from you are they plug and play to the base oem speaker wiring? I would think so

edconline 12-28-2014 11:10 PM

Ahh ok gotcha, I'm replacing everything as well so I'm just looking to cut up an amp to make a harness, but I can use mine. Thanks, GLWS!

I've never heard the base speakers. You would need the BOSE amp as well.

That's exactly what I did, spliced my harness. It's all done outside of the amp.

Yeah that's fine, unless you have a reason to believe it won't work lol.

SuperDave 12-29-2014 05:51 PM

No, it should be working, pm me a shipping address, I'll reply with my PayPal.
