Cosmetically-challenged OEM 2013 Rays Sport Front Rim
 

This listing is for a single OEM Front Rays Sport Rim taken off a 2013 Roadster I just purchased. The rim itself is still sound, and was balanced perfectly when it was removed, but it has cosmetic issues as detailed below.

Long story short, found the car used several hours from home. Drove up to pick it up, but it was obvious right-front rim had had something spilled on it that had eaten through the factory finish on the rim. Looked pretty rough. Dealer offered to send someone to "repair" the rim here in CLT. I was fairly sure that wouldn't work, but the car was exactly what I was looking for, in great shape otherwise, and at a good price, so I agreed to it. Dealer ended up sending me to one of those dent repair places who took their best shot at refinishing it. After four increasingly-comical attempts, I had four layers of paint that each failed to match the other wheels, and a finish that is roughly akin to sandpaper in places. :icon14: At least I wasn't the one paying them for the atrocity. Left and went straight to the local dealer and bought a new rim.

SO...I have an orphaned rim that will never match another factory rim without some serious work. Also has the added bonus that the various layers of paint are also flaking off around the outer edges of the rim! I tried to take plenty of pics to show the condition of the rim, including a shot next to the brand new rim to attempt to show the difference in color and finish as best I could.

Anyone need a good front rim with a pitiful flaking finish? Maybe a good candidate for powder coating? Add a piece of glass and make a coffee table for a man cave? No idea what it's worth in this shape.

If that is way off...make me an offer! I'm including the center cap and the five stock lugnuts as well. Does NOT include TPMS.

I need a test rim for re-painting - so I'd do a $100 plus shipping. As long as it's 100% round with no fixed dents or cracks.
