Stillen SC kit

4 Attachment(s)
I have decided to sell my Stillen SC kit. This kit is less than two months old and has about 1200 miles on it. I upgraded to the 9psi pulley to get more power and discovered that my MAF's and injectors are maxed out. I am not in a position to spend more on the kit, so I am passing on the project to someone else. The kit will come complete as it does from Stillen, to include instructions, injectors, and a fuel pump(on exchange basis, if you have stock fuel pump assembly from 2014), otherwise you will have purchase a new pump. I will also include a bracket that I made that moves the heat exchanger in front of the bumper support. The kit is still on the car.Attachment 92955

Not to kill the FS thread but WHY not go back to the stock pulley? T sell it because of that is NUTS. An how are yo maxed out on 9 PSI. I ran that daily, sometimes saw 10( In stock trim 8 PSI pulley. I didn't have to change anything till I was at 12 PSI, and even then I was ok MAF's where fine and injectors were 93 %. Just did them to be safe?

And theres MAF"s and 750CC injectors for sale on here used for a lot less.:/

In one of our prior exchanges in a different thread, you told me your motor blew due to a fuel pressure leak at the pump. I can only tell you what my tuner tells me and I am not in a position to buy a new motor. I did put the 8psi pulley back on to be safe. It has become very apparant to me that the variation in dynos and elevation greatly affects boost levels and measured power. Bottom line, i want more power and this kit and car wont make what i want. Therefore kit and car for sale!.

I remember that but if you were not in the position to buy a new motor why go FI? trust me I'm not throwing stones but was part of my plan when I started. An if you want more power I hope you wait till you have enough funds aside for new motor.

GL with the sale man just my .02 the kit is awesome and is good for mid 400's WHP no more.

Sounds like he is going to go V8?

I sold a 2014 vette to do this build. It is my fault for believing the Stillen hype. When someone tells you in print that they produce 525 horsepower at the crank, and then you confirm it over the phone when they sell you the kit, one would expect to be able to achieve that. The Stillen kit is a good product, it is simply advertised as something it is not. Arrvaxx is right. I am going back to v8.

:) I could smell it from over here.

Have you considered twin turbo? Or are you not interested in spending more than a supercharger? 625hp with E85, 604hp to the wheels on 100 Octane with mine. 495hp with 91 octane.

Wow that's a great deal. Wish this was 4 months ago when I bought mine. What I don't understand is when I first got my car dynoed at r/t tuning they told me I had 423whp which was 555 at the crank but that was with the stillen headers 9lb pulley test pipes and cat back but I would still think you would be pretty close to 525 crank HP with just the 9lb pulley pulley.ppullepp
