A lot of us had got his number, he forwarded a video to me of the supercharger running when i was interested. Only reluctance i had buying it was that he still had it on the car and didn't want to pay for something that wasn't off the car and ready to ship. Otherwise communication wasn't an issue. He did seem to be in a hurry. He could be busy but i would say give me a couple of days to respond. People are quick to yell "SCAMMER" here, it doesn't put neither side in any good position. Try to figure out whats up if possible.

mag_black 04-04-2014 11:59 AM

That issue is, you shouldn't give anyone the time before disputing if they're not responding. If you're going to take longer to ship, just communicate it, no need to be silent, it just makes things worse. If it doesn't feel right, dispute.

I agree, gotta protect your investment... everything on here is based off of trust. And that's difficult when you don't know anyone on this forum on a personal level.

Realale 04-04-2014 12:22 PM

Just saw this. Yes I had sent him $100 for the pulley day after his posting for sale. He wrote back with this, "put it in the mail this evening. sorry been crazy busy with work. send me a message later this evening and ill get the tracking. it was 2 day priority mail". Almost a week later out of the blue I get a PayPal refund. Never a message from OP back the whole time.

Lol, yep, almost the same for me.

Said he was out of town and his wife didn't ship or something and asked if I wanted a partial refund, I told him that I didn't and he said he was really sorry a few times, and I assured him that it doesn't matter to me. Then a few days later, refund

DEpointfive0 04-04-2014 12:37 PM

And it says he read my text...

Realale 04-04-2014 12:40 PM

Funny thing was that I had asked him a few questions about the BPV he had. He answered all those questions, but never got back to me about the pulley at all.

If you haven't received something you have bought or claimed to have bought from me, please file a dispute and get your funds. My paypal is screwed right now. Some *** on here (think it was the guy who I posted about harassing me), decided to send me 3 different payment from three different accounts, then claim he didn't receive the item. So now my paypal account is severely overdrawn and I have no access to funds. No offense, and I'm sure everyone would understand. I am not about to put my credit card/checking account on the line to replace a negative paypal balance. It is very frustrating that someone on here would do this, but I want everyone to know that I am not a scammer and I sincerely apologize if anyone thinks I was trying to scam them. So please file a dispute and get your money back. I am done with Paypal and this forum. I have gotten so many texts/phone calls from people on here saying they sent me money that I have no clue who is who anymore. Once again I apologize and please file disputes ASAP. Thanks.

Your account cant be overdrawn unless you withdrew the money. In the case of a dispute it will freeze the account and the payment in particular if it's still sitting in the account. If the dispute goes through, then the payment is reversed. If there is negative on the account, the payees cannot get their money back.

rippedforce85 04-04-2014 01:11 PM

If the balance is negative the payees still get their money back. Went through the same situation with ebay years ago. Everyone will still get their money back. Paypal will then start harassing me about the negative balance.

rippedforce85 04-04-2014 01:28 PM

Like I said. I'm done with this forum. If you haven't already received a refund from me, file a dispute and you will get your money. Only way I'm selling the kit now is if I have cash in hand. So this is my last post. Good luck to all the honest guys on here. And to the scammers, **** you.

mag_black 04-04-2014 01:29 PM

Happened to me before. Only way to get your money back is if the seller has money in his paypal account, or if you cc'ed it. Since your acct is negative. The buyers will never see that money again.

OP replied to me.

Jus 04-04-2014 02:12 PM

Op has still not responded to me.

Got a pm from member vq370ztt saying he gave the same excuse about have a negative balance. I dont understand how if someone was sending him money he could have a negativr balance. Seems very sketchy.

Op if you claim not to be a scammer please reply to texts and or answer calls. We need an update on the situation. Have already filed paypal dispute though.

He's replying to me juuuust fine...

I'm going to quote:
Man my PayPal is a clusterfuck. Some *** on the forum decided to send me payment three different times from 3 different accounts. I think it was the guy who I posted about who kept harassing me. Anyways. Now my PayPal is $9000 negative and frozen. I don't know who is who on the forum.

And:
It's weird man. I took some money out. But it's like they are holding double the amount of the original transactions...

Give it a bit.

File your claims, don't turn THIS thread into a clusterfùck.
I have talked to the OP and he seems like a good guy. Just got too many texts from people he doesn't know, and now he can't track which phone number belongs to who

BrandonSS 04-04-2014 02:20 PM

I thought you had to withdraw the money prior to the case being disputed in order to end up with a negative balance. In that case, he withdrew/transferred the money to his account... Which would mean the money is in his pocket from unknown sources for unknown parts.

rippedforce85 04-04-2014 02:21 PM

Jus:

I was texting someone who I thought was you last night. I told them to file a dispute and they did, so I assumed that was you since you filed the dispute. Like I said I don't know who is who anymore, so I'm done posting on here. I'm responding to texts, but obviously not the right ones...so file disputes...thanks.

rippedforce85 04-04-2014 02:22 PM

and if vq370ztt was texting me...he didn't even buy anything from me...that i know of...hell idk anymore...

Paypal has FUUUCKED me too with something similar.
I paid someone twice accidentally, and he refunded one, but his account went to negative for about a week, and I didn't get a refund for 2 weeks, and we both had to call paypal for HOURS

Hi,

I see. Well, I am the person with the 416 number. I assume I am the only buyer am I not for your supercharger. Unless you accepted payment from multiple people.

Thanks for replying. Can you please post a screen shoot of said negative balance? I do not mind still recieving the product if all is fine and legit. Just wondering why so many people have recieved refunds from you after claiming products will be shipped. In my case no response or text replies at all.

Please also post a screenshot of said negative balance on paypal. As the other member said, I assume paypal does not go negative unless you witdraw???

I have posted pics of my payment and claim attached. As you can see there is only one payment within the last 7 days and claim.

Only way I'm selling now is if I meet in person with cash in hand. No more paypal for me. I have been on the phone with them and I know more about what's going on then they do. Hell the person I'm talking to barely speaks English.

deuce189 04-04-2014 03:11 PM

Yeah that's weird, 3 payments of the exact same amount from 3 different people on the same date. And those payments are less than what you agreed too. Looks like someone was either didn't know what they were doing or didn't communitcate with you first before sending payment.

Sorry man. looks like a mess for sure.

BrandonSS 04-04-2014 03:36 PM

Looks like Paypal held the big payments and in turn put your account to a negative because of them. Strange for sure and looks to be Paypal being at fault. Weird that you got 4 payments for the supercharger.

Good luck!

deuce189 04-04-2014 03:39 PM

I think one is the gentleman who actually bought the SC. The 3 of the same amount same day but from 3 diff people looks like someone being an idiot.

rippedforce85 04-04-2014 03:47 PM

I have several text from area codes such as 407, 504, 225, 480,602 all sending threats about not sending them the SC. To quote one "I'm gonna hunt you down and catch you while you're sleeping"

I do not play that ****. Joking or not. We have the castle doctrine where I live, so **** with me, my house, or my car, and you're gonna say hello to hollow point coming out of my Springfield XDM .45.

I'm letting paypal sort it out from here.

Yes that would be me and as seen above in my pics, payment was only sent once.

2800 was the agreed upon amount. My only concern is OP didnt promise three ppl he'd sell it to them and actually got three payments from three diff ppl.

deuce189 04-04-2014 04:45 PM

paypal will sort it. OP just call paypal, it'll probably be a pain. But you'll need to talk to someone directly to omit the three erroneous charges from paypal and sort it out.

Sounds like someone, most likely a kid gave out your number and now you got idiots on here b/c of the scammer scare sending you all these texts.

Jus 04-14-2014 11:51 PM

Just so everyone knows, Paypal just reversed the transaction and money was refunded. Problem is I still lost nearly a hundred bucks just on creditcard currency charges dammit.

I still find it weird that OP

1. OP was given two weeks (till Apr 14th) to respond to the dispute. Although we know there was some sort of error, why did OP never respond?

2. After confirming I was the buyer (since OP stated there were multiple payments), I texted OP again stating I am Jus from the forums. Why did OP never respond to a single text right after payment was made?

3. OP also never answered any phone calls at all.

4. Last resort to forum PM which still did not recieve any response.

Not sure if it was because there was a higher price buyer/opted not to sell or because of the mess on the paypal account. Either way, OP should've responded and update on situation. :shakes head:

weebs25 04-20-2014 10:03 PM

I was the payment $100 higher than the rest, and haven't had a response in a while either. I paid 2 days before everyone else. Also lost $100 to credit card stuff. Don't feel to bad, I already bought my fuel pump and injectors right away when I bought it.

edzilla123 07-11-2015 04:19 PM

you still got it
