On the fence.... told myself that i would try to wait out a good deal on a used kit... didn't expect to find a deal so soon. decisions decisions....

anyone know how many hours of labor the Stillen kit is to install?

rippedforce85 03-23-2014 05:27 PM

Most shops quote 10-12 if you know what you're doing. I believe it took me 6-7 hours with a few friends and a lift. Not including tune/dyno time.

I hope you don't mind rippedforce85 but this should help complete your kit for those on the fence. Let me know if you want this post removed.

I have a set of used 600cc injectors and Walbro 255lph fuel pump that came with the Stillen Kit. I don't need them because I am upsizing the injectors and pump. For sale thread is here:

http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...enso-used.html

Got a quote from Deutchwerks of about $60 or $80 to flow test the injectors and replace the O-rings. This is highly recommended when you purchase used injectors for piece of mind.

Price for the injectors and pump lowered to $400 to cover cost of injector flow test/cleaning.

^^^Sweet. Thanks. Don't mind at all. Alright. Come on let's sell this thing!

Would someone who buys his and installs it be able to get the sticker?

rippedforce85 03-23-2014 06:04 PM

Idk. You'll have to contact Stillen. It's only carb approved when you use their out of the box tune with no other modifications to the kit. And everyone knows their tune is garbage.

I believe if the kit had a carb sticker, u would have to find out contact of previous owner and have them show proof of purchase etc and ask for Stillen for a new one.

brucelidat 03-23-2014 06:06 PM

yeah, seems like I'd probably have to take it to Stillen for install and Carb sticker then get a retune afterwards with some better parts... Why am I even looking and thinking about this when I have a wedding coming up in less than 2 months? It's all your fault martin82

martin82 03-23-2014 06:09 PM

hahah, why my car is FI before anything!

brucelidat 03-23-2014 07:07 PM

how many miles on this kit?

rippedforce85 03-23-2014 07:08 PM

No modifications needed. Not a problem if you keep all the stock parts.
