jgaddi did these cause ANY vibration in the wheel at 60+ mph speeds?
I had a pair of 20mm bolt-ons running on the fronts and it caused major vibration at high speeds. Turns out the stock bolts were pressing into the inside of my rim and causing some vibration. Please let me know! I may be interested.

jgaddi 03-12-2014 01:31 PM

Nope, no vibration whatsoever. These are hubcentric and when properly torqued you shouldn't have an issue.

Great. Did you run these on the fronts of backs? And what is reason for selling?

jgaddi 03-12-2014 01:51 PM

Ran these on the fronts.

I picked up a set of TE37SL's +22 so no need for these up front anymore.

It's usually install error, I had 1 set on for several thousand miles and my rear set was on for a long, long while, no shimmy or anything at any speed up to 155

In order not to have the wobbly u must make sure that the oem lugs dont touch ur rims so that there is no gap btw the spacer and rim. If u do have the space btw spacer n wheel, u have to grind, drill, or use any way possible to shave off excess metal on the rim that the oem lugs r touching.

PS also u need adjustable rear cambers, so that ur tire touching the ground evenly.

So, you suggest filing out the actual rim to allow clearance for the stock bolts? Or do you suggest filing down the stock bolts?

Which wheels are you trying to use these with?

can i use this spacers on the rear

///PureSwank 03-16-2014 06:35 PM

What is the appropriate torque? Anyone?

DOOMMONKEY777 03-16-2014 06:39 PM

The spacers r fine they do what they where designed for, but since the wheel will not be at its actual stock position (15-20mm out) ur tiers will be tilted more and the tire width will not touch the ground evenly, causes tire wear inner side more than outer, to fix that u also need adjustable cambers to prevent bad tire wear.

jgaddi 03-17-2014 12:04 AM

These are fine to use on the rear. I ran 25mm in the rear for a more aggressive look.

The spacers shouldn't affect camber, at least nothing your stock camber arms can't handle.

I read 100 aluminium and 90 with steel. I did 100 with red lock tight. Wheels go on at 90.

This is not correct! Nor is grinding your wheels! :shakes head:

ok then plz explain to me what was happening here when i drove my car and my inner thread started to wear out prematurely, cuz i am pretty sure i need to adjust camber-In to fix this.

lol the oem camber settings are -1.2 to -2.2. thats fast inner wear depending on the tire and is normal for these cars. tires dont last long here unless you lower to like -1.5 and below. but you will have faster wear if you toe is out of spec. shoot for zero as much as you can. the offset of a wheel or adding more offset with a spacer doesnt do anything for camber or toe settings. thats all with your arms and essentric bolts.

DOOMMONKEY777 03-17-2014 06:34 PM

Ahhh the arms ty., weak man, in this case i need to rotate tiers first.

Rotate the tires is still going to be the inside side where the wear is already bad. You'd have to install the tires backwards on the wheels to get even wear.
