SUPER RARE Top Secret Carbon Fiber Side Skirts

Now willing to ship!

Unfortunately, since these don't clear the arms of my lift, these have to go. Ultra rare CF Top Secret side skirts. There's some scrapes on the underside, and one chipped corner that you can't see when installed. My plan before I found out they wouldn't clear my lift was to have them partially painted to cover the scratches and re-cleared.

$1100+shipping/Paypal. New retail $1795+domestic shipping per Top Secret Side Skirts, Carbon

Save over $600 and potentially months of waiting for a very unique part for your Z!

Local sale- $1000 cash

Nice GLWS!!!!!

Chuck33079 03-09-2014 02:21 PM

Yeah, I'm pissed they have to go. But if I have to choose between the skirts and the ability to work on my car without ramps/jackstands, it's a pretty clear choice. Not to say they won't work on another type of lift, they just don't work with mine. Don't let that deter you.

Very nice... Glws!

If I don't get some traction locally in the next couple of days, I'll definitely get in touch. :tiphat:

The main issue is finding a box that'll hold these things.

zilverbullet 03-09-2014 02:27 PM

Yes I feel your pain. It was even troublesome shipping the fujimura diffuser. Cost way more than I thought it would...

The shipping through ups ground was only $100, even with insurance. It's the damn box. My guess is I'd have to build a wooden frame out of 1x1 and staple cardboard to it. These things wouldn't survive the typical UPS package handling without a lot of extra protection.

Mr&Mrs 03-09-2014 03:34 PM

I used lots of the big bubble wrap for both sets of skirts I shipped. Wrapped them separate then all together. No box needed. I also use pilot freight they are a little more than ups but have never gotten one complaint with all the body parts I have shipped.

GLWS!

I have an empty box that my sideskirts came in, I was going to throw it away today but if you want to ship these I can send it your way, just pay whatever shipping would be on an empty box.

Chuck33079 03-09-2014 06:15 PM

That would be awesome. PM'd.

NLP370 03-09-2014 08:18 PM

How difficult would it be to repair the scratches and whatnot? I am pretty handy when it comes to body work and can make things from carbon, but never tried to repair it.

Chuck33079 05-07-2014 09:23 AM

The scratches I would assume would be easily fixed by re-clearing the skirts and polishing. The one bad corner could be built up with resin and sanded I would think. My plan was always to have them partially painted, and the whole thing shot with more clear to fix the little issues.

ZeNato 05-07-2014 09:27 AM

I see... Damn in all honesty it's pretty tempting to purchase these and make a fresh mold for some replicas. HAHA. Give me a few days to ponder this and I might just hit you up.

Chuck33079 05-07-2014 09:31 AM

None of the issues are visible when installed. The scratches are all on the bottom, and you'll be adding a few of your own if you're lowered at all.

Chuck33079 05-20-2014 09:09 AM

Somebody buy these goddamn things. Everybody loves them when they see them, but put them up for sale and it's radio silence. :rofl2:

NoirG 05-20-2014 09:51 AM

If I had 370z they would be gone already, GLWS

ZeNato 07-05-2014 09:47 AM

would you take 700?

Chuck33079 07-05-2014 09:56 AM

Not a chance. Lowball elsewhere. Go price new ones and get back to me.

ZeNato 07-05-2014 10:11 AM

just thought i would try since they have been for sale for several months and noone seems interested. whats the best you would do then? I know how much new ones are and it seems like a good deal...

Chuck33079 07-05-2014 11:53 AM

The price is clearly listed in the first post. I'm firm on that. I'll sooner put them in my attic and keep them than take any less.

Chuck33079 07-06-2014 08:33 AM

bump.

DEpointfive0 07-23-2014 09:36 AM

Chuck33079 07-23-2014 12:01 PM

DEpointfive0 09-07-2014 06:30 PM

Look... $50

Chuck33079 09-07-2014 06:33 PM

(I might. MIGHT be plastered too ok dammit)

Chuck33079 09-07-2014 07:05 PM

I have a feeling your garage looks a lot like the warehouse where they stored the ark of the covenant in Raiders of the Lost Ark, only with car parts. :rofl2:

More than likely it's the same. When people ask me I gotta climb
A mountain of HFCs, tires, wheels, alignment stuff and other stuff, and stuff (I'm drunk, I can't think)

Chuck33079 09-08-2014 08:09 AM

Bump.
