SOLD Thanks for watching.

eastwest2300 01-19-2014 03:40 PM

fvck, i want these, but don't have that kinda cash just sittin around..

cooltoy 01-19-2014 04:13 PM

These will work on a coupe?

hank0z 01-19-2014 07:07 PM

You will have to wire them up ... all the pin outs and wiring are available in the service manual. I'm including the switches which will save a lot of time and $$ cause they are expensive and they are very hard to find used.

cooltoy 01-20-2014 09:53 AM

How would you describe the condition of the seats?

They passenger is in very good contion like new, the driver side has two scratches in the backrest you can see it in my album following the links i posted. Overall they are in good condition ready to install.

cooltoy 01-20-2014 12:43 PM

Do you mean the scratches on the side bolster? On right of this picture?

hank0z 01-20-2014 01:19 PM

yes there is one the most visible and another one right above it, anything else you see are just wrinkles.

I love the shape of the seats. Never realized they looked different from the Coupes.

Justice97 01-21-2014 09:39 AM

Where in Texas are you?

cooltoy 01-21-2014 09:58 AM

I think just the headrest is different. And these (not all) have a different bottom cushion design.

The sides of the seats are more angular too - the Coupe seats end abruptly at the top. I think. Haha. :icon18:

I would love to have these in my car. I'd have them reupholstered in red perforated quilt pattern leather. Gawddamn it. Probably not a sound financial decision since I just got my wheels.

black roadster seats with switches

I would be all over these if they didn't have to be rewired for coupes...are the switches plug & play or do those need an additional harness/rewiring as well?

zakimak 01-21-2014 01:25 PM

don't forget about the seat airbags.

if you take a picture of the harnesses under the seat, if it matches up most 2011-2014 are prewired... I know my 2012 base was prewired with power and wiring to the switches. Might help the sale also.

I meant for wiring purposes. I don't think all coupe comes with seat airbags (stand to be corrected) or whether they are have the same deployment. Nonetheless these are great seats. On a hot summer day with the sun directly above and top down the cooling is inadequate though. Top up all good. GLWS

martin82 01-22-2014 05:04 PM

all coupes come with side air bag inside the seat, couldn't tell u if convertible air bag is different from coupe but I highly doubt it

hank0z 01-22-2014 07:10 PM

i have the connectors for the switches, you will have to splice them to your harness, they are color coded so splicing should be easy

I agree. Post some pics of the harness adapters for seats & switches, this may end up being a plug play deal for those of us with 2011+ models.
