WTB kinetix intake manifold
Hey guys I know this is kind of an off the wall thing to be looking for but I wanna start prepping the car for showing so I'm looking for anyone who has or would seriously consider selling their kinetix intake manifold. I'm willing to throw down good money for it as I know they are hard to come by.
|
Good luck, better track the last for sale, see who bought it, and buy if off the guy who bought it.
Supposedly they only made 3... Sooooo... Yeahhhh... |
I know :-( I'm so screwed v.v but I'm gonna give it a shot I would really like to have one then again for something that gives absolutely zero hp gains I'm not going to pay out my hind end(1500$ or something stupid) for it either thanks DE
"May the force be with me" lol |
sixpax has one, but I'm sure he's not getting rid of his
|
Does anyone else know of anyone with one? Who might be willing to part with theirs?
|
Bump
Anyone got any ideas? Or maybe: 1. Know if I could contact kinetix and talk them into making another, or 2. Have one fabricated? Where? And how much does one think it would cost? |
You don't want that garbage. Send Z1 your already intake manifold core +$250 and get one of there modified manifolds that has proven to make 10whp
|
I want the bling though spohn that's what sucks and that's really the only intake mani for our cars that "pops"

if you want a pop piece go get a top secret engine cover
|
I emailed kinetix and they said they were eventually going to re explore an intake manifold for the 370, but they didn't know when

Look under the 400hp package on Z1's website syno they talk about it on that page. Sim ill have to look into that. Hopefully as max has stated they will revise the mani and I can continue that avenue but if its going to be several years down the road maybe the top secret Idea wouldn't be bad. I saw a guy on YouTube who had polished the aluminum head of his 4G63 and I've gotten the bright idea that if I end up having to tear the build down for a rebuild I might attempt to do that to my whole VQ(to my knowledge no one has attempted this yet) so this mani was going to be that "icing on the cake" per say.

... you mean this ?
It don't do anything but it sure looks good and sounds great ! http://www.the370z.com/members/sixpa...e67179-bay.jpg One is in Washington somewhere the guy was trying to sell it awhile back, one was on a car at Z-1 Motorsports for awhile and the last one was at GTM. I have the one from Z-1, not sure what happened to the other two. Also they were all three slightly different in regards to size ... I heard from 33% more airflow to 36% more airflow ... no clue which one I have and don't really care. I bet if you search back far enough you can find the guy in Canada, I don't think he ever sold it so maybe you will get lucky. Here was his link: http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...fold-vq37.html |
You could also get the GT-R manifold but it's gonna cost you 2 grand, and don't count on it being made and shipped to you any time soon.
|
^ exactly I would have done the GTR mani but that is retarded expensive. And with GTM still deep in production for their turbo kit I see no release date in the near tomorrow sadly. Ill see if I can contact the third guy six. My luck he's no longer active on the forum.
|
I can tell you CJ Motorsports is/ will be coming out with there own production intake manifold around late spring ( don't hold him to that). And it will be super nice piece. His passion lies deep in our Z and you can count on him.
