here's the thing....you put a price up. there are no 'offers'. 'if two people offer you $700 (which is crap because that was YOUR price)'....then you sell them to the 1st first person to contact you. or...the first person that sends you the money that YOU specified.

in the end...get your money. but its a pretty shitty practice of turning a FS thread...with a price in the title....into a blind auction. l'chaim...

I don't expect everyone to agree. I'm just doing what I think is fair. If I asked for $700 plus shipping and no one has offered me that amount, then no one has really reached the "set" price. I don't really feel the need to justify it to any of you any more than I already have, if you don't get it then you don't get it.

It's sale pending at $750 shipped.

It is just that your original post had a $700 selling price, then you started taking higher bids and turned it into a silent auction. If you would have stated in your original post that you were looking for offers over $700 and you will take the best offer, then that would have been fine.

If I go in walmart to buy the last pack of diapers that cost $15, I buy them for $15, the next guy in line can't buy them for $20 because I am paying what Walmart is asking. If I am at an auction, then different story.

You said something about your house being burglarized, that has NOTHING to do with how much your wheels should cost us. Well, you had a lot of reasons as to why you felt it was okay to start auctioning, and none of them made it okay.

It is okay, but you are the one that dont get it!

ok CHAMP, price and shipping are apples and oranges. If shipping is $100 then cost plus shipping would be $800, if cost is $750, then with shipping it would be $850. Get it Champ? If anyone should think befroe they post it should be the OP. If you think I don't want to give you the luxury of turning this into an auction because I can't afford it, you are wrong; I don't like your style Champ.
