sad, sad, sad
This is a real community with good people, I've had members like Serenity send me a free part just because I commented on saying I liked it and he had extra You can't seriously be surprised people have threatened when so many things are "similar" and you don't want to "snitch" on you're friend...seriously? I'd be ashamed of myself for having friends like that at this point in my life. No one likes being scammed, if you truly like being a part of this community, you would help the members affected to make things right, thats really all there is too it. |
May I just take a moment to bump http://www.the370z.com/the370z-com-f...assifieds.html
I suggested an iTrader like format where people are rated to help avoid this. Granted it wont stop it, but at least help. Hope everything works out and the person responsible for the hardship gets whats legally coming to him. Also hope the other members get their money back. Best of luck guys... Quote:
Grow up man. Seriously. Do the right thing, rat out your boy and get these good people their cash. and on a side note, we know it was you lol |
I can't believe the **** I am reading... I am just astounded by the stupidity running freely in this thread... check it out.. your friend scammed someone.. you know about it... and you aren't willing to help, that makes you guilty by association and an accessory after the fact... you are probably lucky the cops aren't involved.

Lol sounds like your "friend" is a dumbass and so are you for protecting him, at this point in our lives friends should be the people that are there to help us through thick and thin, not pull juvenile stunts like this over what amounts in the crime world to paltry amounts of money. When someone starts talking about showing up at your doorstep, you better realize that its totally possible. Nobody's info is impossible to get ahold of anymore. Punch your "friend" in the mouth, get the money and refund people, then post the video of it in the anything goes section to clear your name. Oh, and grow the **** up.
I survived Zdayz 2013 (barely) |
I love his quote he don't need money
But sits his sorry butt on a forum and "lets his friend scam people" lol |
Listen NitrousZ34 aka HumbleZ34 aka Jared Bratton,
Your story is just not right, the fact that you tried to make everyone on here look like a fool for thinking its you. Then you tell us you dont want to rat out your "imaginary" friend but in the same breath you proceed to tell us he was the one that did it and oh by the way, he's also doing the same thing on a paint ball forum. The tactic of shifting blame is commonly used by those that are backed into a corner, I see this same pattern quite often in life. I like to stick to facts and stay out of the he said, she said kind of stuff. Heres the facts: A criminal act has taken place. I along with another member was robbed of $150 each by a fellow the370z member. The account where my stolen money went is in the name of Jared Bratton of which I have an address and phone number, picture and everything else I require to reach out and touch. I filed an "Unauthorized Transaction" claim with Paypal and now Paypal is waiting on the owner of the Paypal account (Jared Bratton) to respond saying YES it was an unauthorized transaction. If Jared Bratton does not respond to Paypal saying YES it was an unauthorized transaction then I am prepared to go to great lengths to teach one Jared Bratton a life lesson even knowing it will cost me many times more then the $150 I lost. I just want to get past this and move on and enjoy life, Jared Bratton is in control of how this goes. This is a car forum and I thought we were all brothers here but now I know shady, shifty people lurk amoung us. I love the valuable information on this forum and am pissed I am forced to junk it up this way. Once we get past this I will just block your user name(s) as nothing someone of your kind says will be of any value to me on this forum. |
Jared,
Im not buying your story, sorry man.. dude, why have the stress, just pay these fellas their money and be done with it, learn from this mistake, and move on bro. |
If I was in his shoes I would refund all the money, sell the Z, delete account and move on. Being he will always be known as the guy who screwed people over. Your reputation is screwed.
|
Sad thing is he can always just create a new name through a different IP and find a way to hide his identity. He isn't the first member to have multiple names on this forum. Paid vendors have been doing this since 2010. Hell one has posted in this very thread.
I hope this gets resolved ASAP. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 2 |
OP I hope you do the right thing and refund their money. Put yourself in other people's shoes... imaging if you or someone you cared about got scammed, it's not a good feeling is it?
$150 may or may not be a lot of money but for some people it's their extra play cash that they've set aside outside of paying bills and other regular expenses and it's a major bummer to just lose that into thin air. I hope this gets resolved peacefully :tiphat: |

Sigh. Thank gawd you are the exception on this forum. |
I say we start a witch hunt. Gets this kids info and go grab the pitchforks and torches. Each time I read his post it irritates me a little more than the last time.
