Fast Intentions TDX Catback SS Exhaust with 12" Resonators

8 Attachment(s)
Up for sale is Fast Intentions TDX Catback SS Exhaust with 12" Resonators. Decided to go back to stock or if anyone wants to swap with a Berk, let me know. These were a bit too rich for my taste. I tried seeing if anyone wanted to swap for 18" Resonators but haven't had any bites so I'm just going to sell it.

System has about 8k miles on it and is in very good condition. Has normal wear and tear on it. The bottom of each muffler has some scrapes but they do not affect sound or performance. You cannot see the scrapes once installed under the car. This is the first gen system. I'd prefer a local buyer but will ship also for $200.

Price $1000 or b/o

Buyer also pays 3% Paypal fee. I'm located in Central NJ if you'd like to pick-up in person.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message here or PM me.

Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.

I know this is off topic, but not terribly familiar with F.I.'s exhaust. What's the big diff in the gen 1 and gen 2?

The gen 1 is our first exhaust for the 370Z and the mufflers hang slightly lower then stock. On the gen 2 we were able to get a lot more clearance and they actually do not hang any lower then stock.

Interesting that you mention that you're returning to the stock exhaust because of the "loudness" of the FI CBE. Was it the noise of the exhaust itself or the drone or both that you found annoying?
Can anyone comment on whether or not the 18" resonators "significantly" reduce the noise level compared to the 12" resonators? I debating whether to go with the Stillen CBE or FI with the 18" resonators. Can anyone comment on which one is likley to be quieter as well as less prone to drone? I recognize that noise aesthetics and tolerance are highly subjective. What is annoying to one person may sound like a symphony to another. I'm simply looking for a relatively quiet CBE based on the choices that are available.
Thanks!

Everyone has different tastes. Mine is for a deep subtle tone exhaust. The 12" resonators work very well but as stated above is a bit too rich for me. If I could switch out and get 18" resonators, I think that would convince me to keep them otherwise I'm looking for a Berk to trade or return to stock for now with HFCs. If you're interested in making a deal, let me know, otherwise discussion about exhausts should be posted in a different section, not the "for sale" section.
