The only problem I had was after I got a local tuner in my town to tune it. In hind sight I should of just left it on the base tune until the z club of Edmonton flew specialty z up for a weekend of tuning. After that it never gave me a problem.

is there any upgrades to the engine needed?

blackonorange 02-17-2013 11:21 AM

No! You will max out the kit before you max out the motor in terms of horse power

Heart Attack 02-17-2013 11:30 AM

will the tranny hold up?

blackonorange 02-17-2013 11:56 AM

Oh yea this won't fit auto, with a 6mt the thing you have to worry about is the clutch but my stock clutch held all summer with hard driving. I would put an after market one in tho, that's up to the buyer
