Nismo JDM Billet Aluminum Oil Filler Cap

I am selling my extra Nismo JDM Billet Aluminum Oil Filler Cap. It's still brand new in sealed box.
P/N: 15255-RN012
Retail Price: $95.85

I will sell it for $70 + shipping or trade for a new OEM Nismo Black Aluminum Shift Knob.

The other one on my car:

I accidentally applied the Nismo Decal prior to putting it on the engine so now it's upside down. :shakes head:

heat it up (or after a drive) use a fine pick tool (or fine screw driver) and lift it up gently. should come off without damage. :)

I hope this isn't considered a negative post (I will gladly edit/delete if a MOD or the OP thinks it is), but I had a question about the warning on the cap. It's not something that I would particularly worry about, but it piqued my curiosity. Why would an oil cap say something like this?

The warning states: "This part has been designed and is intended for off-highway application only. The installation of this part on a vehicle intended for use on public streets or highways may violate laws and regulations relating to motor vehicle safety standards or emission regulations."

^ most likely legal BS.. think of the "this beverage may be hot" warning label on your starbucks coffee cup.

that's pretty much what I was thinking... those coffee cup warnings should be more like this:

Warning: If you need a warning about coffee being hot, you're too stupid to understand this warning.

GLWS OP

I think almost all the nismo stuff says that iirc. Some of mine did

mr.jar- the only true warning one would need to worry about is hot to the touch after a drive. just wear work gloves and dont torque it down too much after filling oil as it will be a biotch to remove next time. :icon17:

the cap itself is very nicely made and ive been using the same cap on my Z for a few years with no issue.

GLWS!
