I bought this V1 from a member here, and it didn't work. I finally sent it to V1 Research had them repair it. There are photos of the repair receipt and a video of the unit powering up.

I am selling the V1, Concealed Display, Blend mount and direct wire power cord for 390 shipped (pretty firm). Retail Value for this is around $500

How much for concealed display and mount?

I'd like to have the V1 and mount only? Have you at least see that it was fixed? Seems like some risk and with no cords. Priced have to be right. But very interested.

I have not been able to in my rage I threw away the cord. But I would imagine that Valentine would honor the fact that they hadn't properly fixed a unit. I can include the repair receipt with the sale.

so it doesn't come with a chord? any way we can verify it actually turns on before throwing down $400

I'll see what I can do as far as finding a power source. But keep in mind that Valentine1 has great customer service and lifetime warranty program. I don't know why they would ever send back a unit that they haven't powered up. They had my credit card number, if it was still broken they would have just fixed it and charged me an arm and a leg. Or at least called me and said that there was a problem.

But, I do understand the concern and I'll work to find a way to power it up and take a video of it.

Cant believe you would put something up for sale knowing it was damaged and fixed without checking it out first... duh.. But hey GLWS...

I get it, dude. I haven't hid anything. No need to input your .02. I paid to have it fixed by certified professionals with a great reputation and showed dated proof of that. If you don't like it, save your two pennies and :gtfo2:

Unit is confirmed in working order. It is installed in my car right now. Downside, and I knew this would happen if I installed it, I'm not sure if I want to sell it now :icon14:... soooo price is raised :ugh:

I'm looking at purchasing a DD and possibly a set of wheels and they both might go down this weekend. If that happens this poor boy will need some skrillah and I will have to sell.

because, imo I was selling under its worth due to the fact that it didn't come with a power cord and I hadn't been able to test it since it was sent to Valentine. Now I know it works and it comes with a power cord.
