You should ad this to the scam/bad seller thread that is in the sticky section.

That's why I would never send out that amount of money to someone that only has 1 or 2 posts.

Exactly.

Rules for buying big-ticket stuff on the internet:
1) Do not buy things from unknown posters unless the forum has a screening process where you are not liable (this one does not - most do not).

2) Try to talk to the seller on the phone prior to the transactions in order to ask questions like you would anyone trying to sell you something off the street. If they refuse to talk on the phone, walk away.

3) Always use a refundable/insured funding source like a credit card or paypal. NEVER EVER use your check card or the seller's proprietary POS service if you aren't familiar with it.

4) Always demand pictures with a hand-written time/date stamp and the forum user's name in-frame.

5) Establish return/refund policy up-front and get it in writing.

You and me both, potential buyers looking for a good deal, take note of this, any person thats trying to sell something, with 1 or 2 posts, take a minute and think, if its too good to be true, its probably not something you wanna partake in. Just a thought. My 2 cents.
