Does it have to be OEM? You can get a prepainted replic off eBay for about $130 that looks identical to the original at a fraction of the price.

I got mine on eBay and had it installed with just double sided tape which makes it completely reversible if I ever decide to take it off or get a different spoiler. The quality is top notch and the paint is arguably better quality than the rest of the car. The color match is perfect.

nice not to thread jack but how sturdy is the double sided tape, hold on good?

Well the spoiler came with double sided tape already on it, but my installer removed it and used high grade 3m automotive strength tape. It is very sturdy and very strong. There are no loose places on the spoiler, at the same time there are no drilled holes either.

Hmmm you guys bring up good points. I was hesitant about drilling holes.

How is the quality of the spoiler? And is there a color mismatch at all?

Can you send me the link of where you got it/what seller you got it from?

DeEePiDDy 08-22-2012 11:33 PM

The quality of the spoiler is outstanding and the color match is perfect. They used 3 coats of Dupont paint and then a layer of clearcoat. Once installed its virtually impossible to tell the difference between the replica and the original OEM.

Heres a link for an auction from the seller I got mine from...

My installer actually recommended not drilling holes at all and just use the double sided tape because moisture could collect under the spoiler and cause the screws and holes to rust..
