Great looking shift knob! Someone should jump on that price, especially with the shift pattern engraved! As for me, I am going to do some exterior cosmetic mods before I start messing with the interior at this time - I was informed I could get the black chrome desert eagle this fall, so I'm going to hold out for it. GLWS and I hope things work out for the best for you.

I'm interested in the Samco radiator hose kit. Looking forward to pics of the hoses.

Yup :icon17: The accountant/wife said she didn't care as long as I wait for a check I will receive for some extra work I have scheduled near the end of September. I hope that check takes care of several itches I have for items that are more expensive than I care to spend  ($200+ on a shift knob is definitely more than I want to spend but it just looks so freaking sweet)

its very worth it with the TWM shift knob. The weight gives you a very smooth shift feel. It's unlike anything I've tried before...(Nismo, PW:JDM, Stock)

dumb question, but how many miles on the oil cooler, and how long are the lines? i dont like stillen's installation of moving the power steering cooler to the driver side (i'd much rather have the oil cooler on the driver side, less work) as well as having the lines at the top. wouldnt that make changing your oil a bitch??

xdeslitx 07-18-2012 02:11 PM

Regarding the oil cooler...its installed on the drivers side so it has the longer lines. The power steering wasnt moved. Ill take pics installed once the bumper is off

sound is subjective bro...cant really tell you but its not a deep rumble that the FI has. i think the sound is more appropriate for imports (doesnt sound like a muscle car like my old setup lol). higher pitched but not ricey IMO

and my shop tells me its 2.25"

The Oil cooler is still pricey at $470 with 10K miles. IMO
GLWS.

xdeslitx 07-22-2012 10:36 AM

Sorry but thats not something that you post on someones thread. If you have a problem withe the price then keep it to yourself. The price of the oil cooler new is well over $600
The price I have up is a fair price.

Even at the original price it was still fair

Chief its not my intention to rain on your sale. In fact I am interested in buying it.
Im just saying Im still not comfortable in pulling the trigger at the current price as a buyers point of view.
Yes its a fair price to some. But a little elbow room would not hurt if I bite the sale right?. If your still open for negotiations.

Ok, I'm about fed up with the back and forth I'm getting from the wife on the black chrome shift knob I want. Is your GM shift knob still available? I'm about to just paypal you using the credit card and hope she doesn't see the charge for at least a few days :icon17:

Oh, and BUMP!

She's an accountant... There's no waiting for the statement for her :icon17:

Since we typically don't keep a balance on the card and its actually got a few K on it right now, I'm hoping she's just not looking at it as often because she doesn't like the balance :rofl2:

HIDE the statement  or you can take her out that whole week so she forgets about checking the statement

Zoren 370 07-26-2012 03:47 PM

Give her some good tender loving care and a HELL of a Performance!
She will forget how to count 1 to 10 for a month! IMHO.

JARblue 07-26-2012 04:45 PM

Haha thanks guys! I'm not too worried cause there are several line items on that statement which I can base my counter-argument on. :icon17:
