Osiris Cable
 

Anyone have an Uprev Osiris cable they don't need? Don't need/want any license as I already have one.

Looking for around $100 or so.

I got one for 150, no ones going to sell it for 100...

Someone recently sold one for 100 or 120. Can't remember which. I'm in no hurry. Only want it to backup my tune in the event my engine is replaced. Not sure if Nissan flashes the ecu when they do the swap. I haven't taken it back for the read of the oil level yet so there is a good chance I won't need it at all.

Even with a cable you won't be able to "back up" your tune, there is no way to download it from the ecu. You will need to get a copy of the tuned rom file emailed to you by whoever tuned it

I already talked to uprev. It is possible.

>> Yes you can flash with back with your cipher cable. To do this we have to set up your cable. Download Osiris from our support section. Also download the user guide for Osiris. Perform a license report and email it to us here. Don't forget to provide us with a ecu part#

They would need the license report so they could enable Osiris standard on the cable, normal cipher cables don't have the flash utility. I'm thinking that they need the ecu part # so that they can send you the back to stock rom, but that only returns the osiris license to the cable, it doesn't save the tune file anywhere... did they say anything else? Because to the best of my knowledge it isn't possible.

That is all they said... I will get more info from them if and when my block needs to be replaced.
