I'm not sure of the exact weight, but it is heavy than stock.

Just get a rubber strap wrench, no damage done to my factory knob. :tup:

If you kill yours gettting it off you can have mine for cheap. I removed it a long time ago and its just collecting dust. I have no plans to ever re-install it.

its in perfect condition, my removal was very easy. ( w/ strap wrench fyi)
