I just bought an r1 extra stti from someone and it looks amazing, however one of the gaskets he gave me looks older than the other and fairly rusted away. Might have been the oem on his car I'm not sure. Would I be better off just going to a dealer and seeing if they can order a new gasket from Nissan or trying the headache of ordering one from amuse? I'm not sure if these things are universal or really make a big difference. Please help :)

Hey bro, I'm sure he probably sent you the oem gasket. You can probably get one online that is a 3" diameter. I know the oem one is a bit smaller so I would just look online for one and call it good :) a gasket is a gasket, as long as your diameter is good I wouldn't worry about the hassle of getting one from the dealer or amuse directly.

I'm going to stay stock for a while. I've made the decision when I first posted the exhaust that I'm going to use the money from the exhaust to buy my parents a vacation. They are getting older, and my mom recently had a little health problem that worried me. I want to do something nice for them while they are still in good health and able to enjoy it together. My parents are hardworking and never were able to go on a really nice vacation. Let me know if any one is interested in the exhaust. Thanks guys
