It is a forum rule that you have to post an asking price for your item.

No the suade isnt dirty it just looks like that when you brush it certain ways. I have to tell people that alot when the look at pics of the seats. They are in very good shape only 15000 miles on the driver and about 5000 on the passenger which is hardly ever used.

Probably not on the door panels. I think he just wants to lose some weight by changing seats.

It's cool. I love the red seats but i'm extremely picky about condition. GLWS.

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 10:11 AM

looks like shippings gonna be a lil more then expected but ill work with ya on it. Plus before I ship im going to have my cleaning guy do a full conditioning and cleaning so theyll look really good. If you have a black z this will look SMOKIN in your car.

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 10:12 AM

I might do a panel swap for a few extra dollars that way itll match the set.

tonybui 03-14-2012 10:32 AM

kielbasa16 03-14-2012 11:22 AM

Would these mount to a base model? How involved is the installation, if anybody knows?

Direct bolt in but the electrics would be the only difference. prolly wouldnt be that hard.

martin82 03-14-2012 12:27 PM

I did a DIY so look for it. It is a simple plug and play all the harnesses are there. The only thing I still didn't finish was the heated seats (harness is there) just don't have the switches.

ga0887 03-14-2012 01:17 PM

In for post cleaning/conditioning pics

shadoquad 03-14-2012 02:14 PM

Also, it's worth mentioning that the door cards are fairly easily removed. There are three bolts to remove, and you'll want to pop up the window/locking control area out, and then the door panel pops off with a gentle tug. The hardest part is feeding the window/locking control panel through the door card without scratching. The card is held on by a large number of phillips-head screws. It's very easy to do as a two-person job.

So, if you're considering the seats, consider shelling out for the door cards. IMO, it's worth it to make it all look consistent. :D

ask me how I know

diddy535 03-14-2012 04:12 PM

So if you had a touring model (already heated seats, buttons for seats, etc.) would it be just a straight matter of unbolting and putting the new ones in?

yes. You also have to deal with the wires for the electronics, but that's not too hard.

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 05:05 PM

Alright 1500 shipped!!!

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 05:08 PM

Ill do a clean swap on the door things too. Only if yours are black or red.

hardroc86 03-14-2012 05:33 PM

.....How would this look in a MB Z

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 06:22 PM

I'm sure it'll look good man.

Dallaz 03-14-2012 08:21 PM

I think some people are forgetting that they will be able to sell their touring seats to someone else with a base Z for a good chunk of change and hardly be spending any money. The swap would be extremely simple for the buyer. I want them also.

I'll PM you tomorrow I might take them after a discussion w/ the GF, assuming no one else got them.

Thechidz 03-14-2012 08:41 PM

you're killin me man I want these soooo bad, wish you were closer to NYC

Correct. Someone with experience could switch seats between two cars in less than an hour.
You do not even have to switch the seat buckles :ugh2:
I unplugged the battery to reset the Airbags just in case.

LafitteZ 03-14-2012 09:22 PM

Yep easy easy switch.

Dallaz 03-15-2012 02:15 AM

PM'd

DEpointfive0 03-15-2012 04:14 PM

The driver's seat looks pretty beat, at least the wings look pretty bad... What's the lowest you'd go?

LafitteZ 03-15-2012 06:23 PM
