I'll put mine on tonight & try the orange marker trick on the C. I'm hoping that an orange highlighter will work.

Just as an FYI...

An orange highlighter doesn't work -it took a Sharpie. I went ahead and did all the clear parts just in case I didn't get it lined up perfect. Looks great now!

Yep. That's where I picked up the Sharpie tip. I thought a highlighter might work, but it's too transparent to do any good. So I had to go buy an orange Sharpie. And of course I couldn't find just an orange Sharpie. Had to buy the 8-pack assorted. And of course it was a bonus pack with 8 mini-Sharpies. So now I have 16 Sharpies that I had to buy to make a couple of inches of orange marks with. As my wife said "If you become famous and need to sign autographs, you'll be all set."

If you go to Staples or Office Depot, they have a whole section of sharpies that are individually sold and in every color you could imagine... :ugh2:

Yeah, but the nearest staples or office depot is 20 miles away. CVS was 3 blocks away.

Really? No one else with a 09-12 wants to get rid of that nasty silver fuel gauge!

Bump for a good guy and great mod!

The overlay is at the house. My girl said that it came last week. Thanks a bunch. Now I just need to get my car back to she (or I can do it when I get back) can install it.

You need to make silver ones for the 2013 Z's, for that "retro look".
