Feeler.... Oem steering wheel for sale...

hey guys i just thought id test the waters before i pull the trigger on getting an aftermarket steering wheel  i have a stock steering wheel that will be for sale in pristine condition no scratches or scuffs.... my car only has about 9,300 miles on her so you know i barely drive my car.... my car mostly sits at home garaged and covered so no worries about sun damage on the wheel... i dont have a picture right now but ill get one up asap.... id like $480 plus shipping for my oem steering wheel... my understanding is that you cant ship the air bag correct me if im wrong... ill gladly include it with the sale if it can be shipped....no use for a airbag without the steering wheel right? lol NOW if she doesnt sell then ill go with the carbon element steering wheel.... i dont wanna have spare parts lying around i dont have space for spare parts...

Shipping the airbag shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't send it airmail. I shipped one via ups ground and they were fine with it.

Nevermind, I just saw your location, might need to check on that one.

FYI, just because you did it does not mean it was legal or the safe correct thing to do. When shipping air bags it is law to ship them labeled correctly as explosives. They have to shipped in a cage like container so that in case it goes off it does not damage/ignite anything else around it. Please, for the sake of safety in airplanes, label airbags correctly when shipping. EVen sending ground they can explode in the delivery truck or even worst the delivery mans hands.

Read, they were fine with it, implying they were aware of what was being shipped. Thanks for the insight though.

If they were aware, they probably labeled it after you dropped it off. Unless you had some careless, non procedure following shipping attendant. Glad it worked out for you though.
