Wow , I might need only brake pad

Ni55anPat 12-28-2011 06:29 PM

sweet deal!

Odd question...does the 370z sport brakes fit on the 350z? I wont be upgrading my sport brakes any time soon, but I would be interested in throwing them on my wifes 350z roadster.

I am about 90% sure the answer is yes, but I would check with a local shop first. I will try to find out for you too.

geosZ 12-29-2011 11:20 AM

I am in the middle I don't know if I want this set up or the 40th red set up. I guess it depends if I get gold or black rims. Glws

OK, they will work, but the fronts need a bracket adapter, available here: CZP 350Z Akebono Bracket Adapter Kit 03-08 - Nissan performance parts

As discussed here: it's a great upgrade for the 350Z

DeEePiDDy 12-29-2011 08:24 PM

I have a non-sport base.. what else will I need to get these to work on my Z?

I put 370Z sport brakes and rims on my wife 350Z. You'll need adapter brackets for the calipers.

I think it will be really tough for me to sell the rears by themselves so at this point I would like to try and sell it as a whole kit. If that changes, I will definitely let you know. :tiphat:

Not sure if i'm missing something, but couldn't you have just power coated the calipers?

Yes I could have. However, that would have meant downtime. This was easier for me.

Sell him the fronts and I'll take the rear calipers.. BTW you might want to consider lowering your price just a little.. you can get this kit with slotted and drilled rotors for around $1600 shipped new...

As I said I'll take the rear calipers! Sell the whole fronts to that person and sell me the rear calipers and I'm sure you can sell the rear pads and rotors easily to someone since everyone needs new replacements every now and then..

And sell him the brake pads!!

Now all you have left is the rear rotors which I'm sure someone else would grab!

geosZ 01-04-2012 04:04 PM

Hey are you willing to sell me the front calipers ? Looks like there is interest in the other parts.Thank you

Nixlimited 01-04-2012 08:24 PM

I am willing to brake it up (<--see what I did there), but the issue is that everyone wants one part here or there which leaves me with progressively more difficult thing to sell by themselves. With that being said, if you guys would PM me with offers for the parts I would be able to better evaluate selling it.

I also dropped $250 off the entire setup to make it more appealing.

Thanks!

Bump for Friday!

ddvette9 01-06-2012 02:51 PM

^^^^^...I just started a thread in the brakes section calling all vendors to PM their most aggressive price on the kit. Yours looks pretty nice, no stainless steel lines or slotted rotors but please PM me your best price shipped to 32256. Thank you

I will need to get home so I can try and figure a shipping estimate. It's several boxes and the rotor boxes are very heavy. I'll let you know ASAP.

Check Fontana Nissan's parts dept. I believe the rotors, pads, lines and fluid are $1300+tax. Calipers are another $1040+tax.

No, you're right, I had a price posted for everything, but never itemized. Pads: $50 + shipping, front and rear.

Added price to OP.
