how does this come off just curious? cause when i swapped steering wheel i accidently tore one of the harness that's connected to this. i didn't try to remove this and didn't try to figure out how.

I don't know. I did not take this apart. I would think that the service manual would show you how to.

I'm not too sure. Do you have a Service Manual available? I think that would show you how to.
