Ebay Auction on Headlights (not mine)

Thought some of you guys would be interested. They look like MR work headlights. Red trim. Some of the LEDs apparently don't work. Not my auction just giving a heads up since they are only at $10 with less than 2 days left.

They look nice!

I am no way connected to the seller nor buying myself but:

FYI replacement headlight assemblies are $800 each (1 side).

If you plan on hitting a wall anytime soon pick these up now!

NismoZ370 10-16-2011 09:51 PM

If your planning on turning VDC off anytime soon you may want to pick them up as well lmao

Dont get them

Up for sale is a used set of aftermarket 370z headlights. They are in pretty good shape. The only problem is that some of the LED's on both lights don't appear to work. Please email with any questions. Bidding starts at $10 no reserve. Happy bidding!

??? What's your point? The LED issue was already discussed... for custom headlights $50 (current bid) is still an excellent price with or without some LEDs needing replacement. Not talking a major issue. Just my opinion.

you could be right, butas the shop that worked on them isnt listed, theres no telling how they were installed, or how well they were actually painted. i guess for the money they're a good deal, but I wouldnt want the headache of fixing them up.

MattP725 10-17-2011 02:26 PM

They look identical to MR Works lights... might not be but besides the LED problem they look like high quality. Again, I benefit nothing by anyone buying them but if I had a red car I would def consider it.

I'm kinda confuse to of what is broken with these.. what LED are you guys taking about? and I have my OEM ones.. is it possible to buy these and replace the LED with mine than?

They have custom LEDs in the inner reflector (which is now a matte color not reflective). See the notched side? These are done by some custom shops to make them more like the Audi headlights. No you cannot use "yours" because you don't have any but working with LEDs isn't hard if you know how to solder or know someone that does. You just need to research the proper voltage to make sure you don't burn them out prematurely (likely what happened here).

looks like just the landing strip, for someone who wants black housing, this is a good pick up...woudl in a flash if my Z was red, I'd still even take them now as i plan on opening up my current ones...back up lol

NismoZ370 10-17-2011 08:22 PM

yes! :icon18:

Well I bid, just for kicks to see if i get them dirt cheap..but its moving up steadily

370Z JT 10-18-2011 12:22 AM

If my memory is correct, these belong to a member here. His dad bought the car used from a dealer and he had problems with the LEDs. My guess is that his dealership replaced them, and now he has these for sale.

Kandy OrangeZ 10-18-2011 02:22 PM

Some a hole outbid me and won by $10 :(

MattP725 10-18-2011 03:30 PM

wow $10 when I found them now up to $510... that's a crazy jump (prob still a descent deal though). How much does MR charge to do that sort of work?

sexZness 10-18-2011 04:17 PM

A lil more than $510 but with working LEDs of course

TheGreatOne 10-18-2011 04:20 PM

The cool thing here is you would have your and this set, so its like you are making 600-1000 in theory

sexZness 10-18-2011 04:22 PM

in theory, assuming whoever worked on the headlights sealed them properly and there's no problem with humidity sipping inside of them
