You should decide to ship the bumper, many people will take it... including me.
|
Lol @zcarman. Cc- I just don't want it to get damaged. It doesn't for into reg. Boxes either. I would have to et a custom one made and the nearest greyhound shipping is 45 mins away. Also, no other car to fit it in. Sorry I wish I could ship it.

You can always run a quote through UPS, they have their store front locations where they can get a box for you, it's cheaper to pay a decent amount for shipping rather than ordering a brand new one, having it shipped anyway, and having it sanded/painted if necessary. Again a reason that people, myself included, would be interested.

Hey guys look I really want to sell this thing to you but I already had an estimate from UPS on the first page. It was something ridiculous like $800 that's shipping to Cali and the box, not including the price of the bumper. I dono if my ups is trying to pull one over on me or what bit that was the quote. They said shipping it in a custom box would be a lot and also shipping it freight would be a lot. O really want to help u guys out but I don't no of any other options. Except greyhound that's 40 mins from my house and I only have my car. My car yells pull me over already but with half a bumper hangin out the window, forget about it. Does anyone have any other ideas? And if u shipped a bumper before how did u do it and what was the price? Thanks guys

You dont need to ship this in a box. I sell a lot of car parts and normally when I ship bumpers, i wrap them in Bubble Wrap and ship them. That way your only being charged the actual size of the bumper for shipping and not a box thats 2x larger. Greyhound will ship a bumper for around $75

Thanks Kandy Orange z, I was going to ship greyhound a couple of months ago but saw that they don't insure unless its boxed and wrapped on their site. I just don't want any problems if it gets damaged. You never had any problems insuring it?
|
I normally dont insure the urethane (oem) bumpers. They cant withstand a lot. Just make sure to wrap the hell of of it. I wouldnt be worried about the bumper itself, more about the paint. And UPS or Fed ex will insure it if its wrapped properly

Hope this helps. |
I would take it if it was still available this summer when I get my headlights painted

Thank you all for ur input. I truly appreciate it. I'll ask ups if I can give them the bumper wrapped up and insured and see how much.
