Jesse_Hunter 06-28-2011 05:12 AM

I'd like to see them Powdercoated black and on a 370!

Titan1080 06-30-2011 12:42 AM

I got these rims and the RE070 RFTs that came with the GT-R and I love em! They do lift the car on stock springs a noticeable amount and I plan on coilovers long term to offset the lift. Other quirks are that once you take tires off these rims, you have to reinstall a new set since the knurling on the wheel won't fully reseal the bead on the tires. Here's some of my pics and GLWS!

Edit: not an issue with the seller's rims in particular but if you buy them and get sensors, do NOT get GT-R sensors (probably doesn't need to be said but figured I'd share my learnings), they are a different part number and frequency which doesn't talk to the 370's TPMS, my low pressure light is currently on and will stay that way until I get new tires and sensors for that knurling reason :ugh2:

Are those the stock GTR tire sizes on your car in those pics?

bolson1982 06-30-2011 12:30 PM

Titan, Is that on the stock ride height?

Yeah, stock springs and shocks.

Yep, front: 255/40ZRF20 rear: 285/35ZRF20 The inner shoulders of the fronts are a tight fit to the spindles but so far I haven't had any rubbing issues. I've thought about a small spacer for a little bit more clearance but the last time I had the car on a lift I didn't notice any rubbing damage on the tires.

ducky 07-02-2011 02:31 AM

weekend bump

bolson1982 07-02-2011 03:08 AM

Please pm with your best price shipped to 99706 (Fairbanks Alaska). I don't want to lowball but considering the cost of rims and tires in the recommended sizes and the sensors it opens alot of other wheel options for the money. Even with that being said I'm still interested.

takjak2 07-02-2011 07:30 PM

Shamu borrowed a pair for his first AX in the 370z:

bolson1982 07-28-2011 11:44 PM

Any crazy deal shipped to 99709?

ZzzZz 07-29-2011 12:23 AM

The rims don't look good on our Z's - at least a relatively stock Z.

Ask yourself if you really want the rims..... or if you just want a GT-R!!

;)

Really unnecessary to bash potential buyers.

NO NEGATIVE POSTS ALLOWED!!! This would mean that if the part looks like crap, or their asking price is too high, or things of that nature.

Sorry not bashing.. and while a bit negative, I meant it in a sarcastic, humorous way. I guess some things just don't come across well on-line.
