Berk test pipes for sale W/ extended O2S adatper
CLOSED ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These pipes have around 3000 miles on them, they are in great condition. The O2 sensor fittings I had to buy due to CE codes, havent had a code since. No gaskets come with the pipes. Reason for selling, too much rasp with Stillen CBE, just a heads up! EDIT: The extensions for the O2 sensors were purchased as "stainless", after removing the test pipes I noticed a bit of corrosion...not stainess but they have have some nickel in them. $125 + Shipping Attachment 23519 Attachment 23520 |
Ill offer a single$ as no price, meet us half way dude ;-) nice honesty on rasp

The extensions for the O2 sensors hey when u put that The check engine turn off , beacuse mine its on and idk we need to get that for turn off
|
I think your asking if the use of O2 extensions will prevent the CEL from turning on? Yes, they work great! Depending on what pipes you are going to be using, you might need a longer or shorter fitting, the berk's come with a "factory" extention but its not long enough. I did get the occasional CEL but seldom, maybe once every couple month's, just did the quick code clear steps.
For the topic of this conversation, if anyone suggest's using steel wool, try and stay clear from doing that, it's not the right way! |
What are the gains on these...and if you still have them in a week or so I may take them
|
Probably have to do some research on that, I had them on a Nismo. Low end really opens up! I miss that alot. I'm guessing +15hp

Test Pipes
What is missing in the test pipes in order to install???
|
I don't believe anything, I should have the the bolts...I looks like I need to check that. Other than nuts/bolts, nothing unless you plan to replace with fresh gaskets. The factory gaskets are not a crush type, but soft metal/layered. You really don't need to replace them unless your application is forced induction.
|
Are you sure about that. I believe 370Z's are like 350Z HR's (we share test pipes) and the header to test pipe gaskets are needed to install.. that's why Berk includes them. The OEM gaskets in that location are crushing ring gaskets that slip around a protruding pipe that comes out of the OEM cats, but the test pipes do not have this protruding pipe so it's very difficult to re-use the stock gasket. Berk sells the gaskets you need for $25 shipped.

NP Still a great deal! GLWS

Yea, great deal...I'm keeping them for a jig. Might as well use them for something useful, maybe weld up a set of pipes that sound good.
