Feeler: Stock Sport BBK + Stillen J-Hook Rotors + SS Lines + Stillen Street Pads

Hey guys, as some of you might know, I'm looking to get an idea for interest in my BBK. Its the Stock Sport Calipers with the new Stillen J-Hook Sport rotors (l<1k miles), Goodridge Stainless Steel braided brake lines (<1k miles) and Stillen Street Pads (<1k miles).

Looking to get $1500 for them picked up. Will ship anywhere at your expense.

I hope you're selling because you got the stoptech 15" kit

If I did more than one caliper exchange every three months for this car, i would be on this deal and use the rotors for myself. I have 18 sets of corvette brakes, 6 sets of camaro ss brakes and only one set of akebonos, yet the other two cars have waiting lists for powdercoat exchanges.

RCZ have you noticed a difference/improvement on braking with the J-Hooks vs stock rotors/drilled/slotted rotors??

RCZ 12-01-2010 08:00 PM

I haven't had drilled so I cant say anything about that. I did notice though that pedal feel stays more consistent with the J-hooks than stock. Might be because of the extra cooling.

The brakes do feel like they have more bite to them, even on the street pads that are currently on the car. Feels like I'm tearing the pads apart, like the rotor is just digging into the pad. Obviously its not, but that's the best way I can describe it and the very slight increase in brake noise.

Good price for all four. GLWS

Awesome thanks for the info! I'll be looking to do brake upgrades next so I'm interested in how these work...

Bump for RCZ

rAiN 12-06-2010 11:41 PM

would you sell just the rotors and pads?

SE 12-07-2010 10:01 AM

Dammit you beat me to it. I'd be interested in just the rotors.

RCZ 12-07-2010 10:28 AM

Nah, I know you guys want the rotors hehe, but I want to sell the whole thing. If not then I'll just keep this setup for a few more months. It works really well anyway, so I'm not dying or desperate to sell.

qb37xS 12-14-2010 11:39 AM

I'm willing to take the calipers, lines and pads, anyone who wants just the rotors, please PM seller with an offer.
