9 OEM Nissan Intelligent Smartkey Fobs

I have 9 used OEM Nissan Smartkey fobs without keyblanks for 07-09 Nissan Altima or Versa. $30. I have positive iTrader ratings on a different site under the same name.

FCC ID Codes on the back of the fobs:

CWTWBU729 (Versa)

KR55WK48903 (Altima)

What's your source of getting these? This section is for private individuals only. Are you a shop/company?

TongMan 11-11-2010 02:20 AM

Will these work with 2010 370z? My fobs have the "z" logo and not the "Nissan" logo.

09 370Zs came with Nissan logo. The Z logo's started from 2010.

TongMan 11-11-2010 03:48 AM

So will they still work? How much does it cost to program them?

i believe its $90 but, but i'm pretty sure a new key would cost you $250 not including programming.

TypeOne 11-11-2010 09:43 AM

I have an extra Keyblank... what would I need to do to get one of these to work? Just have the dealer program it?

doubleG370Z 11-11-2010 10:39 AM

$30 shipped :)

Oh yeah? Got a link to your ratings? Do any eBay? Pardon my skepticism, no offense.

I'm not a shop or company. A relative of mine used to work for a Nissan dealer a few months back.

None taken, I totally understand. I rarely use ebay, most of my selling is done on g35nyc under the same name.

too bad theyre not the 2010 z ones

GShock 11-11-2010 04:33 PM

I was always under the impression that Smartkey fobs were interchangeable with other Nissan makes so long as your car came equipped with Smartkey technology. This is not the case. These fobs work according thee the FCC serial #'s on the back of it and I just found out 7 of the fobs I have work with Altima's only and the 2 other work with Versa's.

My apologies for any misunderstanding. Glad I found this out before I actually sold one.

For us that have a 2009 370z can we just go to the dealership and get a the new keyfob with the Z logo on it programmed to our 2009?

I believe the 2009 and 2010 Z FOB frequencies and ID range are the same, just a cosmetic change.

sounds like 250-350$ just to have a Z on your key that no one will ever see.... hell i cant even remember the last time i took my key out of my briefcase. i dont even know that its in there for sure except for the fact that my car unlocks the door and starts when im near it! id use that money for a meaningful mod!

A more meaningful mod? That z emblem has to add at least 15hp. Do it with the gtr start button and you're probably looking at an extra 50. Who wants to start a group buy?

I agree that's way too much money for just a Keyfob change .. I just like the Z keyfob better than the Nissan one that came with the 09's. oh well no biiggie ... it just sucks for us 09's that didn't get the cool keyfob with our car ...

Lolz ... It does just like how decals and pinstripes add 20 horsepower as ricers think they look cool as they drive down the road bro .. But don't hate on the gtr start button !!! First put on then see if it makes your car louder when you start your car ... :driving:

There is a solution to get the Z fob without reprogramming. If you can buy a broken fob or keyless fob cheap just open it up and swap the shells, problem solved.

waaaasabi 11-13-2010 09:56 AM

Hey OP, please check PM's

Not at all, these were in a box ready to be thrown out along with other stuff. He was given the green light to take them, so he did.

there is no way to know if it will work or not until someone tries to program one, also depends on the bcm and the keyless system, but really its all speculations until someone tries it.

Just to reiterate, these fobs cannot be programmed with 370's. They can only be programmed with 07-09 Altima's and Versa's.

FCC ID Codes on the back of the fobs:

CWTWBU729 (Versa)

KR55WK48903 (Altima)

My apologies for any confusion.
