Well, the time has finally come to lose the Z. I will be reverting it to stock (mostly) next week before saying my final goodbye. (Those of you who know me may remember that this is the combined result of getting laid off from my job after 11 years at IBM, and then the wife asking for a divorce.)

I can't relate to your story exactly, but a year ago my fiancée called things off the same week we finished booking our last vendor for our wedding. I didn't have a job, as I had just graduated college 2 months before hand.

October 9th will be a year since she broke it off. In the past year, I've grown as a person, got a job, bought a house, bought my Z 2 months ago, and just started dating a girl for the first time since my ex.

It basically took me a year to rebuild my life. Time heals everything man. Hang in there. I know how I felt when I was in the dumps...it's not fun. But I believe everything happens for a reason. Goodluck with the sales...you had an awesome Z

Were you a developer at IBM? If so, I could see if there are any openings on my dev team, at UnitedHealth Group (health insurance company....same as UnitedHeathCare, etc). It's pretty stable and they're always hiring....even during the recession. We've hired some guys from IBM recently. They were from the Websphere team. But the thing is, you'd have to move to PA.

Anyway, good luck. You'll be missed...snif..snif.

Damn man I went out and bought my 370Z after a bad breakup... Great therapy I tell you... Still ongoing too. LOL

Update: Intake, headers, and CBE sold. Ladder brace almost sold.
