still would like to know if the seats would work on a base model.....even though it's still too high for me right now....

I'm sure fitment wouldn't be an issue obviouslly... check to see if the base has the wiring harness to power the seats. You might run into trouble with the heated seat function since the control switch is absent on the base.

Seats

I would really like to purchase the seats but I need to know there are no fit/finish issues with installing them on the Sport model. Where would I find information on whether the wirring harness is allready in place?

^^I have the touring/sport model so there won't be any fitment issues. As for the wiring harness I still don't know the answer to that. I think best bet would be to contact Nissan directly
