LED 194 Parking Lights

I made the mistake of thinking that I was ordering two LED bulbs but instead I ordered two pairs of them. They cost $15 plus shipping from VLED, but I am asking $10 shipped for the two bulbs.

The package was only opened to make sure that they were the same bulbs but are brand new.

Can you describe the install of these? I'm interested in buying a set if yours aren't available, but I'm wondering how tough it is to install them.

christian370z 08-03-2010 01:06 PM

They are stupid easy to install, and this is coming from a complete Nissan noob. There is a push clip on the front of the two front wheel wells that hold the arch liner to the body. You simply pop that out and bend back the plastic lining from the bumper and all the bulbs are readily accessible at that point. Just turn the parking light socket counter clock wise to remove and the opposite for reinstallation.

Are these still available? I take them if so.

christian370z 08-03-2010 05:46 PM

They are tentatively sold pending paypal, I will let you know if anything falls through though.

Yeah the R&R IS simple enough - But follow this tip when replacing the bulb.

Use care when installing the bulb into the headlight. If on the way in, the bulb slips out of the connector, it can end up falling down inside the Headlight housing. Nothing short of separating the headlight will get it back out.

NewYorkJon34 12-09-2010 12:22 AM

the v-leds site is not letting me order these bulbs (glitches), anyone know whats up?

RedBullRR 12-09-2010 10:53 AM

Is this the same bulb for the license plate?

NewYorkJon34 12-09-2010 11:59 AM

Never mind, bought it

christian370z 12-09-2010 03:03 PM

That's good it worked out Jon, you will definitely enjoy them. The bulbs for the license plate are different so no, these will not work.

NewYorkJon34 12-09-2010 04:41 PM

Rep+ to anyone who can tell me where I could find a clear bulb for the front headlights. I want to replace the orange turn signal bulb (the one on top)

christian370z 12-09-2010 06:39 PM

Well, the bulb number is 7444NA and here is a link to LED replacements if that works for you (7443 bulbs work as well):

15-LED 7443/7440 Bulb Specifications

Here is a chrome coated amber bulb (filament) that will work:

7443 Chrome Coated Wedge Bulbs (1 pair) - Dual Filament

NewYorkJon34 12-16-2010 05:09 PM

The 2 tiny orange bulbs right next to the 194 bulb, how did you change yours to that purple/bulb color? I want to change mine to white but am unsure how.
