Looks like we have some people that know the difference between the two NISMO exhuasts. Which one is better? The S-tune or the OEM off the NISMO car? What are the gains over stock on each?

I guess S-tune has somewhat better in performance :) Just seeing the appearance, it tells so

2009+ Nissan 370z Nismo Cat Back Exhaust system

$1300 would probably be a fair price "IF" there are no better aftermarket exaust out there (e.g., Stillen, FI, Berk, etc.). Even if there are no aftermarket replacements, a used part should be sold at 60% of a brand new part; obviously, supply-and-demand dictates/supersedes everything.

Anyways, good luck with the sale.

To my knowledge no one has really dynoed with the two different variations to get a really good idea of what the power gains are with each, so this is just my opinion:

The stock Nismo Z exhaust is a H/X pipe design...almost a true dual design. Typically these are good for low/mid range torque and power gains.

The Nismo S-tune variation follows the stock Y-pipe design with bigger piping and a different muffler. There are better alternatives to this.

Since we're talking actual USABLE power, I would say that the stock Nismo Z is definitely better than the S-tune exhaust due to the differences in pipe design.

I just got rid of my Nismo S-Tune...and yes..the aftermarket is better than the real Nismo exhaust. It does have better gains but nothing to brag about...which is why I recently got the F.I. :) The actual exhaust coming off the Nismo won't sell for more than $800 TOPS. I just sold my S-tune for $500 with Stillen HFC's.

*edit* The S-Tune is better in sound...only has I think 7hp gain. I was only told is was better from the parts guys at Nissan..he explained but I didn't really listen becuz I originally purchased the ACTUAL Nismo but they intalled the wrong one

Asking for $1300 isn't even the funniest part. It's that he's offering to deliver it "for a fee". :icon17:

Would you want to drive 4 hours one way to deliver something for free?
