|
charles.. what are you up to.. LOL
|
haha... yes sir.. its funny cause I posted the same thread as "red370" about drag radials... and got zero responses... you got all the love..
I would autoX it and road coarse it but this is my only car at the moment and I can't afford to be without it. So those plans will be delayed for a year most likely.. this year its just my goal to go to the track several times and pull the best time outta this car because It aggravated me when I see Edmund's pulling 13.7s. My stillen exhaust will be put on some time this week, as long as my seller actually is mailing it to me, he said its shipped but i can not get a tracking number out of him for the life of me. And getting tuned friday... Next is the LTH and mixed in somewhere in there will be a LSD... Red , you more than happy with yours ? If I go with slicks I do not see a reason why I wont pull a 12.5-12.9 but Ill prob need to find a 17" wheel to work with the slicks , and im not too sure on what size slick I would need. Chances are is I will settle with a 18" Nitto DR which should be just fine. I think I can drive my 6M better than most too soooo I have high hopes... And the only way I will be happy is with the proper tires on the car if i bring it down to the track. I had the oppurtunity to run my friends auto 370z with Greddy exhaust, berk cats, uprev tune, and injen intakes and for whatever reason my car was the quicker car with just my mods listed in my sig.. Id pull in the middle to upper rpm range of any gear on his auto from any speed. He put down 315 whp at performance motorsports after his tune too. Seemed to me the gearing on my 6m is much better. So I have high hopes. |
I bought some 17" Gram light 57Pros for the sole purpose of dragging, they werent that expensive either, but I think the stock 18"s with some Nitto NT05R's should grip like a mother. High 12's are definitely doable with some DR's with a good driver. If you're not doing it week in and week out competitively, you really dont need slicks, DR's can be daily driven, albeit, not for alot of miles but its convenient. Beat an auto huh? not bad, their only downfall is not being able to launch, not a bad result.

I saw those gram lights not a bad idea... 17x10 ? .... what tire are you going with ?
Im most likely getting a drag radial as well, one that I will only use on the track and going to the track. |
yeah, im going to buy the NT05R
|
Considered MT ET's ?
And I would add what you want to buy to the thread title  |
