Fast Intentions exhaust 12” resonators

3 Attachment(s)
I am selling my Fast Intentions exhaust with about 35k miles on it. It has dents and scratches on the mufflers from when the car was too low, not noticeable when installed. It has an indentation on one of the pipes to clear my Z1 Ultimate Differential. A dimple about an inch around to give 1/4” clearance for the diff. There are black dots from rustproofing stuff that baked on the pipes not the cans and not visible unless you are under the car. See the pictures. I am asking $800.00 shipped price to the lower 48 states.

New lowered price $800.00 shipped, I will list it on ebay later this week.

Thoughts on Fast Intentions exhaust vs Stillen exhaust. The rear section of the Stillen is twice the weight and more difficult to instal. I like the mesh visible inside the Fast Intention ports and visible cans, my wife likes the Stillen look better. Cold start the Stillen is surprisingly louder. At half to full throttle the Fast Intentions sound is more crisp and exotic, like the difference between listening to someone speaking directly to the phone compared to Bluetooth. The reason I bought the Fast Intentions was I thought it was the best sounding exhaust. I have high flow cats that make it as loud as the resonated test pipes it used to have. The Z1 Ultimate rear differential changed the gearing to 4.09 stock is I think 3.78, it is in the higher rpm a lot more now, 3rd gear feels like 2nd used to. At cruising speeds the drone became much more noticeable with the new diff. The Stillen cured this as the sound is much more muted under load at cruising speed and I can hear my new high end stereo without cranking it up. If I had not bought the Berk’s and the diff I would have kept the FI.

In the end - I think it all goes back to personal preference. I have the FI exhaust and their HFCs as well. I love it overall but you are right - when I would do road trips - when I was cruising at 75-80MPH; it was really really annoying for long periods of time. For me - the best fix was having a friend hook up to the car and did the following as far as the settings provided:
Turning OFF the sound enhancement
Leaving ON the noise cancelation

By doing that - it winded up making it a lot less 'loud' in the cabin so made roadtrips a lot more bearable. Either that or I'm getting old haha but regardless that helped and now - I LOVE driving the car even more. But if I remember correctly - the Stillen sounded nice and a friend of mine had the Greddy Exhaust which was nice sounding as well. I just was never a fan of the 'single exit' exhaust sounding exhausts - but just my .02 on that haha.

What is this sound enhancement and noise cancellation you speak of?

The Z has "fake" engine sound transmitted through the cabin speakers to enhance the crappy, quiet exhaust.

Active Noise and active sound enhancement system. Coupe only

Active Noise Control System
• The active noise control system outputs an antiphase sound from each speaker against unpleasant engine
booming noise (operate in the range of 1,000 - 7,500 rpm) and reduce sound pressure level by the interference
with
engine
booming noise.

Active Sound Control System
• During driving, the active sound control improves the quality of engine sound heard in the vehicle by producing
a
sound via
the speakers according
to engine speeds.
• BOSE amp. receives the engine torque signal, accelerator pedal position signal and vehicle speed signal via
CAN communication, and calculates the frequency of sound adding to engine sound, sound quality, and
sound volume from each signal, and transmits the sound signal to each speaker.
