2016 370z Nismo Recaro Seats
 

Hey!

I have a set of 2, pair of seats out of two different 2016 370z Nismo - Recaro Sportster backs with Nismo bottom/base, all factory base/slider/airbags intact and included in sale.

(If you ask for an invoice from the dealer with everything needed for these, you'll see they're over 10k from Nissan direct)

Asking $2500 plus shipping to you or pickup in Portland. Reason for sale is fixed buckets being installed.

Will be strapping to a crate and shipping freight, should be about 2-250 to ship.

UPDATE: I am currently having issues with PayPal and will be unable to accept it as a payment. I am only taking cash on pickup or Zelle / Bank Transfer as payment for shipping.

I have a set in my 2013 Nismo. Great seats. I don't expect these to last long.

Have a issue with my PayPal, unfortunately I was unable to complete the deal. Money was refunded to Patrick, Once again sorry for the inconvenience.

Seats are still available for Cash pickup or Zelle if anyone is interested still.

I'd pay with Zelle but from what I understand I have no protection like I would with Paypal.

Here's where this get's strange. I called paypal today to find out when my credit card would be reimbursed and I was told that my transaction was valid and the seller cancelled it. I even received a shipping note from paypal that shows the transaction ID number (see attached). I don't know what the issue was.

did seller backout? I had a bumper i was buying on here through paypal fall through also and was refunded after a couple days. Previous transactions i had paypal would charge me then immediately credit it to the seller (as I think it should be). For whatever reason they flagged the transaction and charged me but held the money and did not give to the seller. He didn't want to ship it out at that point which i totally understand and agree. Could this be a similar situation?

The issue wasn't on your end, it was an issue with my PayPal account and PayPal support verifying my ID.

That should have been an easy fix. :tiphat:

This post is almost exactly copied and pasted and the pics in the imgur link look identical to that old 2017 post, just a different price and different city I think. I can only suggest we can see if the Op can take some pics with his username and date to verify he has possession.

Wow good catch. First picture from NextLevel vs this thread...see the two plants in the background. That’s a dead giveaway.

I actually paid him for the seats through Paypal. I immediately got a transaction confirmation from Paypal. The seller cancelled the transaction a few minutes later and tried to tell me that Paypal suspended his account. He then suggested I pay with Zelle which doesn't offer any buyer protection. I think he was trying to scam me.

So because he cancelled it via Paypal you did get your money back correct?

Oh yeah, he refunded my money. I think he was trying to suck me in. He knew I wanted them because my payment was good. He acts like somethings wrong with his Paypal account and refunds my money because he doesn't have seats to deliver and then tells me he will accept zelle thinking since I want them so bad that I would agree to that payment method. Fortunately, I didn't want them that bad to fall for that trick. Zelle is designed to send money to family and friends. There is no protection.

I actually sent him a text a couple of days later asking if he still had the seats, he sent a text back saying he did. I then sent another text stating that I would pay the shipping cost up front if he would ship them to me and after I inspected them, I would send over the money through zelle. I told him since I already paid once, he knew that I was good for the money. He never even replied to my text.

Oh yeah, when I told him I wanted to use Paypal, he asked me if I would use family and friends because he didn't want the Paypal fees. I told him I would pay the fees.

Really sucky because based on his profile history, he was fairly active on the forum at one point.

I figured scam after your posts and no defense follow up once accused of trying to scam.

That's what I figured, long time member, good posting history but he hadn't posted much in the last few years. That almost made me want to trust him but not enough to send him money with no protection. And now after seeing that he wasn't even posting pictures of his actual seats, it just reaffirms that he was a scammer.

Be interesting to hear his response to a potential local sale...
