Swapping my Nismo wing

Anyone with a MB Sport interested in swapping hatches? I have the Nismo wing and am looking for a change. Hatch swap means no one has to drill holes/do bodywork. Willing to drive out halfway and swap it in the parking lot :rofl2:.

The Nismo and Sport spoilers share the same mounting holes. They're interchangable. But, it's probably quicker to just exchange hatches. At least the V1 Nismo spoiler.

Sorry guy, the Nismo hatch is not the same as the Sport hatch. The Nismo hatch is longer that is unless you put a Nismo wing on a sport hatch.

I didn't know the Nismo was longer, I had always assumed they were the same. He'll still be able to put a Sport spoiler on the Nismo hatch though.

I think that needs to be qualified - the '15+ Nismo spoiler adds length to the hatch and might look mismatched to some beholders if not paired with the '15+ rear bumper.
That being said, I think Betty has a v1 Nismo, so it should be a straight swap.

Is that what you mean, Spooler?

He does have a V1.

Not from what I remember when my car got totalled. The Nismo has a different hatch all together. It is longer.

Thanks guys! Ole Betty is a 2014. Am I correct in hearing that the stock sport spoiler can be swapped with the Nismo spoiler without having to do any body work?

I had a 2017 Sport and installed a 2014 Nismo spoiler onto it. Straight bolt on.

No way Nissan would make two different hatches. Not economical.

Premium members can lock their own threads. Go into thread tools menu, just above sand to the right of your first post.

If you have a Nismo, you probably also want your VINs to match. The hatch has a VIN on it.
