Just want to clarify - I am talking about the one in the picture of the car w/ wheels. Doesn't look like the Type M add-on...but I'm not well versed in these things. Is that one the type M?

it is the version from powertrix. its basically a modified type m that removes the need to attach it with screws on top of the stock sport spoiler and then they extend the ends of the add on spoiler to fully cover the ends of the oem spoiler where the original type m stopped short.
