Who is your tuner? Jon Parham didn't have a single problem tuning my car.

Also, its on its way, shipped yesterday. My girl lost the receipt with tracking info on it LOL. Just text me and let me know once you get it please.

cupcakez 05-09-2018 11:48 AM

ByTheBay is my tuner.
I trust him very much.
If he says it won't fly with his style of tuning, I won't use it.
He has a masters' in Computer Science and also works for a really well reputable and high name company, as well is a master tuner for EcuTek.

Lol no worries. Ill text you when the package arrives!!

He said something like the only thing that he will allow to control the throttle response is the ECU, so its fine!

Someone else that wants this can use it for a good price, 150 shipped (:

You forgot to mention that this would not work with your automatic since it’s a version for the MT! ;)

Well I thought that too.
But I was told it adapts to any transmission, whether AT or MT.

The original owner happened to have MT but I am sure it works for both AT and MT or I am wrong?

Either way, there is way more MT owners than AT for this vehicle haha

There is no difference in the throttle harness from MT to AT, all this is is a middle man between the throttle harness that opens the TBs more per less throttle.

i did not use it.
But OvertureZ is pretty known around here and I doubt he would ruin his reputation over this item.
It is still being shipped to me haha.

overtureZ 05-10-2018 03:43 PM

Indeed this is in proper working order when removed. It should be arriving to cupcakez within the next few business days.

Yes, definitely. I figured it was a gimmick but for the used price it was worth a shot! I didn't want to mess with my warranty nor could I afford a tune...so. Anyhow, the throttle/peddle lag is completely gone and the shifting feels smoother IMO (7AT). I formerly drove in the semi auto mode nearly all the time to try to overcome the lag but now it isn't necessary (but still more fun:tup: ). I won't be going back to stock any time soon. But then again I have only had it installed for a couple days. BTW with the V2 (less expensive older model) I find the "green" setting to be preferable.

Hope this mini review is helpful.

You'll default to the "red" setting soon... trust me.

Do you know if it’ll work the same with a 6mt?
