Close up of the tips please?

Those look like they're different than the FI standard.

cooltoy 08-16-2017 07:15 PM

Keep in mind that this would be a Nismo version.

I wonder if this is what he meant when he said it came off of his 2012 nismo?

:confused::confused::confused:

JaykeZ 08-17-2017 08:38 AM

Still fits on normal 370z's?

OTW Z-Boy 08-17-2017 08:45 AM

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong... only difference should be a slightly longer tip. Due to extended Nismo rear bumper (diffuser)

Most people miss details when they read, so I pointed it out. But I appreciate your sarcasm.

Hi guys,

From the looks of what people are saying, this version of exhaust "tip" is slightly longer when compared to a standard FI exhaust. On a non-nismo 370z, is it noticeable to a point where it looks weird?

Thanks
Jay

Looks weird; I'm wondering where all these weird questions come from- you save over 300$ & 90day wait...a little Polish & like brand new! My non-Nismo doesn't look much different.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0f92280f2e.jpg

Weird questions? Imo, there is no such thing as a weird question. You said it yourself, "My non-Nismo doesn't look much different". I'm still trying to figure out what "much different" in this case is.

And you're telling me 5 years of usage is equivalent to "like brand new"? Are you kidding me?

Who said it had 5 years of use? Looks like it is in great condition even before a polish

Unless it is dented or scratched, it as good as new. It's just a bunch of pipes welded together. There is nothing mechanical to break.

Maybe you are not familiar with FI CBE resale value. This is what they go for used. It is actually a little cheaper than what they normally sell for.

Seller put "this is coming off of a 2012 nissan 370z nismo" and did not mention how long it was used for, so yes, I assume that it was used for 5 years... And please correct me if I'm wrong...

Seller mentioned "minor scratches", so clearly not "good as new"... And please correct me if I'm wrong...

I honestly don't but thanks for that info :) Now I know, if what you're saying is true :)

This exhaust setup was on the car for a little over a year, the only reason we are selling it is because the customer went with the 3" fast intentions exhaust system.

Thanks for the insight. That was exactly the time period I was thinking it was used for, unlike 5 years like some others in this thread :rofl2:

LOL! You must have special power or something?! Unless you heard it from somewhere else. If he had mentioned that in the first place, I would not have stated the things I said... IDK why you're giving me a hard time here.

How was I supposed to know that?! LOL

let me know if selling the mufflers only is an option.

NextLevel 08-30-2017 09:16 AM

To answer the questions via the tips, the 2015+ Nismo tips are extended outward 1.25" vs the base models so they are not sunk in to the rear bumper. The actual tip itself is the exact same tip, but the bending connecting tube is longer.

Elmo370z 08-30-2017 12:22 PM

If i didn't have an exhaust i would of bought this asap.

baesic 08-31-2017 10:26 AM

Wait...so this would be compatible with the base? Is this non-res, 12, or 18?

It is compatible with the base it will just stick out further from the rear bumper and this is non-resonated.

JARblue 08-31-2017 01:51 PM

Excellent price!! Can't believe how many negative comments there are for such a great product in such good condition :icon14: I'd buy it if I didn't already have one installed on my car and another one laying around the garage :icon17:

GLWS :tiphat:
