hey fellas, I hate to ask this, but im gonna ask anyway because I honestly dont know, but why are these necessary? I did read the link from Z1, but I was hoping for something in the most lamest of terms.

Since these are solid mounts, the engine won't sag or move around when load is applied like the OE motor mounts. More power will be transferred to the wheels instead of being lost by the motor moving in the engine bay.

More info: http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...or-mounts.html

Good luck with the sale

They keep the engine from twisting from the torque under acceleration. Some don't like it because it can make the car vibrate at idle because there is no give. I don't experience any noticeable vibration and yes I does translate into better performance.

OP glws!
