Rare burnt orange OEM 350z seats
2 Attachment(s)
My friend has some OEM 350z seats with roughly 10k miles. He had them on his 2004 touring 350z but due to a recent accident he is currently parting out his vehicle. I'm having these test fitted on my 370z Tuesday morning due to the holiday weekend, apparently both vehicles are similar in bolt pattern I just don't know how the harness would work out. They are heated seats, I'm sure you can look them up on google and find out more. Seats are in great shape.
He is looking for 2k, however he is also posting these on Craigslist and the 350z forum to see how much he can get for them. |
$2k... Yeahhhhh...
|
Do they even bolt into a 370Z?
|
but they are rare, thats like triple the price at least...

Yes, same bolt pattern. I'm going to test fit to check for the wiring of the heated seats, may have to splice wires.

If someone does let it go, they either sold it for the price they wanted and/or does not understand the rarity in having the authentic TK knob. I used "and/or" above cause someone may not know what it is and sell it for $50 lol |
I've always loved the burnt orange interior of the 350Z, especially on the Daytona Blue. With that said, for $2K with 10K miles, probably not for me. GLWS though.

There is a turtle knob in the classified section every other week (of course I'm exaggerating), but it comes up often enough that everyone has one now. That isn't "rare". And I think you may have forgotten how you found your tk, it was I who referred you to the guy whom everyone on the forum knows had 5-10 of them at the time kept in his sock drawer :rofl2: So what's rare imo? The Zele shift knob. That is truly a rare jdm piece. Only 2 or 3 have been seen for sale on the forums in the last several years! I would have gladly paid the asking price for the last one that showed up here last year if it hadn't been badly abused.
And $2,000 for a pair of 12 year old seats that no one can confirm fitment? Good luck with that. There is a set of 40th anniversary seats for sale now in the classified for far less. I would look into that set, at least we know it's straight bolt on, all the connections are there for the air bags and seat warmers. |
He apparently just sold them, and he did get 2k. An again this wasn't my item it was my friends I was just seeing if anyone would potentially be interested on this forum. It also was to a guy with a 370, the fit was fine.

These are rare, had these for a period of time and sold them. Would be cool if these work in 370z.
