Then good luck finding 5" black exhaust tips. There aren't any unless custom made which you'd be looking at ~$200

Ask me how I know this...

Because I also wanted 5" exhaust tips a while ago, spent days searching the web and got nothing and ended up shelling out 300 to get my axle ceramic powder coated. Check my album if you want to see how they look.

Also, this. And it happened to be a 370Z too! :rofl2:

What if I were to get them powder coated instead of plasti dipping?

Zbrah 12-17-2015 11:56 PM

Powdercoating is permanent but more durable. However, for simply exhaust tips it's not worth it IMO, too expensive. You're better off plasti dippin it for $10 a can, serves the same purpose and reversible.

I've got polished.....

shika805 12-18-2015 10:51 AM

why not just paint it, with a high temp primer and and black engine paint and call it a day? its not hard? why spend $$$ on powder coating or plastidip thats cheap and probably with need a respray after a few months?

if you really want it to look good spray a 2k cut clear on the tips?

anyways just a suggestion, good luck with the search.

I suggest you visit a custom exhaust shop in your area and see if they can manufacture something exclusively for you. It might be pricey but at least it will be unique.
