The right one sits perfectly, the left one hits the bumper and is slowly melting it

Stack some washers on the rear hanger and you should be good.

ourdelusions 08-12-2015 01:04 PM

Doesn't work that way

casper151291 08-12-2015 01:28 PM

So I'm a bit confused, are you selling the exhaust with the HFC? or just the HFC

ourdelusions 08-12-2015 01:28 PM

Just the hfc

The hinge it hangs on is front to back, not left to right

At the bottom right of the picture there are three bolts holding the rubber hanger to car. I have this exhaust and the DT-s version. Trust me, get under your car, remove those three bolts, stack some washers on the bolts and put it back on. This will essentially create enough spacing to get your muffler tips off of the bumper.

ourdelusions 08-12-2015 02:02 PM

You're right, but I was trying to push the exhaust to the right so that it would sit centered. I guess I'll have to do the washer thing

Zbrah 08-12-2015 02:11 PM

You can adjust it but it will never be perfectly centered. I spent quite a bit of time twisting and turning the muffler to adjust mine and got it close to matching the other side but it's still off a little bit. Just the way it is.

ourdelusions 08-14-2015 09:11 AM

Don't get me wrong, I know that cars all have minor defects or slight variances between each individual car. But I can't help but feel like this should be a non-issue...

this happened to me b4, it's hard to explain but I just loosened the bolts and readjusted it so it wouldnt touch it! its better to have a second person give u a hand. after youve adjusted it just tighten the bolts again!

ourdelusions 08-14-2015 10:47 AM

Yea, I'll definately do it just because I don't want the bumper melting apart

ARK is easy to line up guys. Mine was not lining up the first time cause the piping were not correctly bolted. I went though EXACTLY the SAME thins as some of your guys lol. There are those two end pipes which can easily be bolted right to left and wise versa. They look very similar and seems like there is no difference between them, but there actually is.
I swapped them in the right position and the exhaust aligned right up where it needs to be.

Took me about two hours to put mine on the Z. I need to help one of my friend here with them as well, cause an exhaust shop miss-swapped the piping incorrectly. lol

Here's mine all aligned properly with ease. No adjustment was needed if those pipes highlighted in red are not miss swapped. I wish ARK could label left and right side so we didn't have to go though this.

Well fck me! That makes a lot of sense now. I'm going to try swapping those pipes over, hopefully I can get it to look like yours. Thanks for sharing!
