PWJDM shift knob

Got a titanium type 1 knob with black collar. Don't like the feel of it so I'm selling it. I've also got a type 2 ss knob which has a broken collar that's stuck in it currently. If someone wants it I'll ship it out along with the type 1 for 5$ more (covers my shipping cost for the weight).

Asking 50$ shipped for both, and 45$ shipped for the type 1 alone.

Any idea on the weight? Looking for something different than ny nismo shift knob

not sure, but seeing as I have a scale I use to weigh all my food, I'd be happy to weigh it out for you later. My friend has a nismo knob in his 350 and he mentioned he liked the look/feel of this one better.

I guess an easier question is is it heavier than stock knob? My nismo knob feels lighter than stock knob but the shifts feel better, but i thought heavier knobs should feel easier.

the type 2 is far heavier than stock. the type 1 feels about on par, but maybe a bit lighter. Any sort of all metal knob will give you a more solid feel. Having had all sorts of knobs over the years in my opinion weight isn't the biggest factor, it's the material and quality of threads. The stock knob is heavy but feels rubbery because of the material. If it was solid with a leatherette cover it would be perfect

just an update: sorry for not posting up the pictures yet. Dealt with a lot this weekend. I traded in my forester xt for a nissan rogue, and I think now I'm going to be selling my Z (only 11 months old) and getting a honda s2000 or older porsche boxster instead. Will be getting the pictures up tonight!

I have a s2000 and love it!

Yeah it seems like it would be a great car! The Z is just too expensive for being my track only car and it still takes a ton of money to maintain it for track use... s2k seems easier and tires are half the cost...

side note: Pictures are finally up, but the site is being weird and won't let me toss them in so links are in here as well. Sorry for the delay guys.

What do you mean exactly by broken collar? Also, your last two images aren't showing up.

the color on the type 2 is literally stuck in the bottom of the shift knob (can still be screwed on and used though), but the flared part of the color is broken off...with a decent set of pliers you could pull it out and clean up the threads on the inside, then screw in a new collar (that you can take from the type 1 or ask pwjdm for one) This is why i'm giving it away for free basically...

yeah I don't know why the images aren't showing up. I've tried everything to import them and no luck...The first two are links to what the second two embedded images are supposed to be..
