In his defense you did reply to someone saying you would ship. You also bumped the thread with a price change to $220 then bumped it again a few weeks later saying 240 picked up or 260 shipped soooooo yeah :ugh2:

And while you may have had a good track record with others in the past, you're not a sponsored vendor. That, and i havent personally dealt withyou, nor do i know anyone else who has, so I think I'm allowed to be skeptical to some degree, regardless of your track record with sales.

I'm not hurt that you don't want to ship, that's fine. My issue was asking to pay you via "gift". The stories I've heard that starts with that ends up usually in multiple weeks of litigation trying to settle payment on an item that either wasn't what the seller says it was or didn't ship at all. I'm doing my due diligence by NOT paying via PayPal gift.

While I stand by NOT using PayPal gift, I'm still open to negotiations in process to include the PayPal fee and possibly the shipment.

BTW, this thread has been open for almost 8 months, and someone did already ask for shipping, so I figured I'd ask too.

And I doubt anyone will go through paypal gift option through the forums. I know it is not posted to the actual Classified Parts for Sale/Car for Sale Rule Section, but it is almost an unwritten rule to not send money via Paypal Gift. Of course there are circumstances where if you are in person making a sale and the buyer has checked out the part and are comfortable with you being reasonable to send Paypal Gift. I know many people who will still do Goods and Services while in person just to have the extra liability protection incase there is a malfunction and something goes wrong between the buyer and seller. Who knows, things happen, which is why we use Paypal Goods and Services.

Personally; The only ones I actually do the Paypal Gift to are people I have met in person and I personally know. I also know they are understanding in the upmost of ways as well incase something needs to be changed or refunded.

Even after posting that quote you have quoted he told people in texts that he wasn't shipping. It has been a huge mess.
